I picked them to win their district this year. That's better than the 2-8 season they had last year. ;)
winning that district this year dont necessarily make you good!  LOL
So true. But, Jasper will not go 2-8 this year, therefore they are better. Now, how much better remains to be seen. ;)

 7. Hmmmm... Silsbee had 20 more points than Cleveland (27-7), had 201 yards of total offense more than Cleveland (346-145, actually more than double the offense ;)) 7 more first downs (17-10), yet in bimbo's eyes this was a very close game. I was there last year, broadcast the game. I agree, it wasn't a blowout (I personally do not count 27-7 games blowouts) but this game was far from being close. Only thing I saw was that Silsbee had 4 turnovers in that game which allowed Cleveland to "hang around" longer than they should have. BTW, I have Silsbee winning by 18, not 40. ;)

Cleveland by 8
Cleveland had a better team last year than this year and Silsbee won 27-7. Cleveland is not even picked to make the playoffs out of their district (22-3A) Don't let their win over Caney Creek, 37-21, fool you. Caney Creek is terrible, will go 0-10 most likely.
Caney creek will not go 0-10, heck they beat kingwood park last year and then park beat brenham but anyways Cleveland is a much better football team than they were last year...last year they had the ross twins, reed, and richardson but had no identity...this years team does!!...the indian offense was garbage last year and it was 14-7 at half and 21-7 in the 4th before the the qb through a pick 6 to end the game so it wasnt a blow out last year by any means...if silsbee wants to turn the ball over like they did against waltrip the indians will have the offense to take advantage...silsbee is big and good so cleveland has their hands full...im thinking more like 28-24 silsbee!!.....
Well, if you consider 2 turnovers (both fumbles) by Silsbee against Waltrip a major problem, then I see your point. BTW, Silsbee is a +6 in turnover ratio for the year. ;) ;D This will not be a blowout (not sure if a 27-7 win last year is a definition of a blowout ::)) but the Tigers will win this one by 18. ;)
I'm just stating that last years game between these two was alot closer than the score portrayed, once again clevelands offense was pitiful, now that they are moving the ball it should pose for a better game....btw caney creek is way better than waltrip  ;)
Hmmm.. closer than the score indicated. I think these final team stats of that game reflect pretty accurate of a 27-7 Silsbee win. ;) Final team stats                   Cleveland                        Silsbee rushing          30/81 yards                  29/120 yards passing    7-21,64 yds, 1TD, 3int      20-27, 226yds, 1TD total            51/145yds                      56/346 yds FD                    10                                  17 Penalties        3/20 yards                        4/40 yards quarter scoring                       1          2          3        4        tot Cleveland          0          7            0        0        7 Silsbee            14          0            0        13        27 Also, Cleveland passed the ball 21 times in that game. Not familiar with too many veer offenses that do that. ;)
Due to the slight injuries that Bevil and Pruitt have, it has given Jeremy the opportunity to get more snaps with the first team than the other two have had. I had said alll along that eventually Jeremy would be the starting QB(predicted by game 3 or 4) but it may come sooner than later. Woodard stated that Jeremy was becoming more comfortable and confident with the offense which will enable him to utilize his athleticism and make plays with his arm and legs.
Good deal...Jr is in battle with 3 QB's...he started at 4th string QB and is now battling for 1st string...he and 2 sr JUCO transfers...the competition is tight...may be better to red shirt him this year...IMO...but it's cool to know he's in the fight!
Do you expect him to redshirt?

 16.
they play selection appears to be pretty different... JJ - 7 of 10 for 10 yds?(misprint?) Prewitt on 4 completions gets 66 yds.....? or was it similar plays, different reads? who saw the scrimmage?
JJ was 7 of 10 for 100 yards. The last zero was left off. Jeremy also rushed 3 times for 22 yards. Both QB's ran similar plays.

Soulja your Jags will be fine. The goal is always to win State I hope for all our teams. 82 you are a hater and im going to leave it at that. People may not like PA or PAM for whatever reason but remember that the guys out there giving it their all are Kids. Soulja the Jags will be doing their thing once again believe that; yall have the talent to get it turned around in a hurry. Good luck the rest of the way.
I am not a hater. I will give them props when they beat NS and WB. What I hate is all the boastful, arrogant, trash talking coming from a few PAM supporters. You absolutely take all the fun out of the game. I would be more willing to give them the props they earn, if it weren't for a couple of posters being so arrogant about something PAM hasnt done yet. Try being a little humble, first. You're likely to earn more respect that way.....not just from me, but from other posters on here.
and that's an understatement! One of the most sloppy games I have ever seen. 30 penalties, 10 turnovers, 26 incompletions, players cramping up, resulted is us having a 4 hour broadcast. 30 minute pregame, 3 hour and 15 minute game, 15 minute post game. That is much much too long! I thought Silsbee's defense played very well other than on 3-4 plays. The Tiger offense on the other hand, has a lot to work on!
One play 6.......6 players came to the sideline. 6 on their backs with the legs up. Mass confusion for the next play.  Coaches screaming players names.....nope not me! Next!  Nope not me! I laughed on that one.  ;D
I know exactly what play you are talking about. It was Turk's 60 yard punt return for a TD. When he reached the endzone, players were sprawled all over the place. Looked like a bomb went off! Silsbee was scraambling around trying to find players just to send out for the extra point attempt. Kicker, down (he laid the block that freed Turk on the return), Turk was gassed so he couldn't run the wildcat for the two point conversion, among others who were on the sidelines like you said, with their legs up in the air. The coaches had to send Spearman out to play QB in the wildcat, resulting in a failed two point attempt. It was mass kaos!! Tim and I were laughing up in the broadcast booth! ;D
