3rd quarter was a quarter of runs. Barbers Hill scored the first 8 points of the quarter but Summitt scored the last 15 points of the quarter.

The #5 ranked Silsbee Tigers will take on the Athens Hornets in a class 3A Region III semifinal at Johnson Coliseum on the campus of Sam Houston State University, TONIGHT 6:15pm. Silsbee (27-7) made their way to the regional tourney by defeating Splendora 71-56, Brookshire-Royal 69-57 and then Coldspring 57-51. Athens (26-12) earned their way to Huntsville with wins over Huntington 71-49, Mexia 72-50 and Fairfield 48-42 OT.
