I still hate we lose coach Moore to Central, but being there with coach Foreman at Central is probably the best move for his coaching career. All the best to the Central Jags, coach Foreman, coach Moore, and the rest of the staff. I think by 2014, 20-4A will be glad to see Central in the district with PAM. ;D ;D ;D 8)

would be nice to see PAM vs Central in a district title game in 2014.  ;)
So, are you saying that you think we'll be in y'all district and  will compete?
no. PAM enrollment has been on the decline since 2009, dropping about 100 students per year. based on history it should decline by close to 100 after this school year. i dont know if PAM will even be 6A depending on the cutoff.

If ya'll drop to 4a, BISD would need to open a 4th HS and have all 4 be 4a schools IMO. This would probably help all the area teams out for travel expenses, etc. Each of their schools would be around 1400, which is what most 4a's are in the area. Probably won't ever happen though.
No place for a 4th HS though as far as land, unless they build it on the north end cause them west end people not gonna go for a 2nd HS on that side of town IMO

It would be in northend like old French hs. They have land out that way. BISD won't do it though.

IMO, 3 schools age too many, so a 4 is not even in discussion.  The ONLY reason there are 3 now is.....  Well, another discussion for another day...  :)  But, IF it were, I can guarantee you it WOULDN'T be built in the north end.  There is too  much development in the West end for that to happen.  Just see where the South Texas State Fair is located NOW.  Just look at where the new stadium is located...  Remember, Ozen was the ONLY team that didn't have a home stadium.  Do you think that it was proposed to build it in the North End or the Pear Orchards?

WOW talk about your Juggernaut of a District... Would leave 2 games for Pre District... and a Weekly bye...

Port Arthur Memorial
West Brook
Nederland
PN-G
Vidor
LC-M
Lumberton
Central
Ozen
Would NEVER happen.  West Brook isn't losing numbers like Memorial.  Brook's numbers have been consistent for about 15 years or more...

Probably not the $$$ alone would sink an ISD that is scratching by now.... but still would probably be the elite of the elite in Districts ...

I agree it won't happen, and I'm well aware of the crying game in the Pear Orchard to have their beloved Hebert, I mean Ozen HS back. It hasn't been the jaugernaut in sports like they thought, but they do have their school back. IMO, Central and WB in 5a is where all kids in Beaumont had more success. IMO

Take out Lumberton and LCM and insert WOS and that would be a tough district, kind've like the old days when you had 3 Bisd schools, 2 Mid-County, 2 Port Arthur and 2 Orange county schools.
West Brook
Memorial                          I agree It will never happen, but what a district.
Nederland
PNG
Central
Ozen
Vidor
WOS

if PAM does not move to 6A i think Livingston will get moved back into that Brenham district.
That would be best for Livingston because I don't see them making much noise in the next 4 years. :(
