1. Silsbee can hit any of Dibolls pitchers, the team can hit; just couldn't get any luck Thursday game.. they just have to come out Saturday focused, play their game, and they will advance, if not then their season is over.
2. I have heard the games will be on Thursday & Saturday but any word on location yet?
3.
Both teams are pretty evenly matched IMO. Played a close 6-4 game earlier in the season. I would venture to say Diboll has more pitching depth with 4 good ones & that Silsbe swings it better..I hope it's a 3 game series to be fair to the kids If a one Gamer I'll take Silsbee 4-2 3 game I'll take Diboll in 3.
True that game was close but you have to remember that it was raining that night and I don't think they saw Powell either.. The Tigers are on fire, I'll take silsbee in 1 or 3 games
4. I don't know if you should write them off just yet.. The first game they lost 9-8 after giving up 7 in the first inning They're scrappy and can definitely compete I wonder if it'll be 1 or 3 games, should be a great one!
So can Silsbee, for state ;D Silsbee didn't played a game in about a week before playing Columbia, the bats are warming back up.. for OF to have a shot in winning they need Silsbee to play their worse game and OF play their best game, I'll take silsbee winning in a 1 or 3 game series.
5. Games being moved to evadale to finish gameplay, tomorrow's game will be in Douglas. Teams currently driving to evadale to try to squeeze this game in before the bad weather.
6. Team Records: Silsbee 14-3 Bridge City 12-6
7. [move]This district should be interesting to watch![/move]
8. Well in that case lumberton beat BC for the reasons you just stated? ok.
9.

Correct, but BC only scored once when silsbee pitched their 3rd best pitcher. Silsbee was beating them 3 to 1 going into either the 4th or 5th (not sure) and they took him out because he reached his max limit of pitches and the other pitchers were already either used or being saved for the next day. After that they put a non pitcher in to pitch who hasn't pitched a game this season BECAUSE HE ISN'T A PITCHER .. after all the walks, and hits from BC. of course BC won by ten run rule. But if silsbee had there pitcher rested like they will be in district play. Silsbee can compete for 1st in district
The pitcher that started that game also closed the game against Lumberton.  Not sure what criteria or information you are using to classify him as third best??  Silsbee has several guys that are really effective and will be able to compete and get wins in district!  You are correct, after the decision was made to pull him due to pitch count they tried to use guys and give them the opportunity to see what if any role they may play on the mound in the future. Any team can be beaten and that is why we play the game.  One game at a time for Silsbee!
I didn't mean it like he was not as good as the other 2 pitchers.. i was referringg he is the 3rd in the rotation, I think his name is griffin? .. tournaments can really show pitching depth.. just like the next day BC lost to lumberton 4 to 1 which silsbee beat them 6 to 3. I would assume because they were saving pitchers or they were already used
