Because UIL wants to enlarge the amount of schools in 4A (now 3A) because of that classification going to split divisions, I see the bottom numbers of the two top classes having to move up some to help with that issue.

Based on what I saw last night at Tiger Stadium, Silsbee will need to improve in order to beat the Indians at Da Rez.

The 6A bottom number could be less, maybe 2100, not 2150.

I predict these to be the numbers for each classification: 6A (what is now 5A)    2150 & up 5A (what is now 4A)    1050-2149 4A (what is now 3A)      450-1049 3A (what is now 2A)      210-449 2A & 1A will determine on how many schools play 6 man.

No way LC-M and Orangefield will be in same district! Current enrollments for each school: LC-M    1,123 OF          520 It's very possible LC-M remains 4A and be a 4A DI (with the likes of Silsbee, Lumberton, BC, Huffman, Splendora, Cleveland, Jasper, maybe WO-S). But no way does Orangefield go to DI. They will be a 4A DII with HJ, HF, Buna, Liberty, Tarkington, Coldspring, etc.) I still say the bottom number for 5A (what is 4A now) will be around 1050. If that is the case, LC-M will remain with it's district mates now and be 5A (what is now 4A).

My "opinion" is based on the stats of the scrimmage and what I saw with my own eyes from the sideline. Silsbee defense played well. Silsbee offense, not so well. Moved the ball but failed to get in endzone.

You can say how "obvious" this or that is. What is "obvious" to me is Silsbee better find something they have been missing in these scrimmages. And I don't care if "their coach said". I saw them last week and you saw them this week. With all the preseason hype they should have rolled over at least one of these two teams. Hasn't happened. [/quote] My comment was about the EC offensive line and how they performed against the Silsbee defense. It was in regards to the comment made about going "toe to toe". That was not the case. As for the rest of the scrimmage, I have already made my comments on that subject.
