In Barbay's defense, schedules are made every two years. He could not have scheduled Silsbee this year because of the two year agreements.

No. Barbay stopped scheduling Silsbee last year. They last played in 2017. In fact, Silsbee has won the last 5 of 6 against Jasper. That might had something to do with it along with a few other things.

But, the assistant coach/trainer/documentary, looks more damning than anything. He is not a full time employee of the MVISD and seems to have connections to the two players in question.

I saw this and IMO if you got something like this to say, then say it on national TV on Gameday. This looks really bush league. Thought these guys were better than that. Now, I agree that there is some truth to what they are saying.

I guess I just don't understand the logic behind Fox putting this game first on a Saturday schedule. To me a 2:30-3pm start would be better.

Question and I am being serious and not asking with ulterior motive. Why does Fox have this game at 11am? Is there some financial, logistical or very good reason for the early kickoff? Would think this game garnered 2:30 status or has it always been an 11am kick?
