  1. I would say Newton and WO-S has as much speed as EC. What about comparing how much points each team scored against HJ and Liberty? HF = 58, Silsbee = 96. But HF beating HJ at home by 1 point with a late TD and two point conversion while Silsbee defeated HJ by 34 on the road, looks pretty ominous. I know it's all about match ups, but just sayin.
  2. Or that Barbay is 1-5 vs. Silsbee while at Jasper. Jasper and Silsbee has had issues before, but kept the rivalry going. And, why stop playing Silsbee in all sports? Allow the other sport coaches to schedule who they want.
  3. Let's hope UIL puts Jasper in same district with Silsbee so that a certain decision is taken out of the hand of a certain coach.
  4. Think it's first week of December
  5. I am currently selling Standing Room Only tickets for Game 6 of World Series. Nothing close to the $700 per ticket. Got 12 for $75 a piece. I can furnish you a chair and a reserved spot around fire in my driveway for an additional $25. $75 includes two hotdogs and a 6 pack of beer. Need to have these sold by noon tomorrow. (need to know how many hotdogs to cook and how much beer to buy)

  7. Taking Urquidy out at that time gives Hinch a bit of a safety net if this series goes to 7. He can give you 2-3 innings in that game.
  8. Yes and more importantly its the official sausage of Texas A&M Athletics! Get some every time at Kyle Field. You can purchase it at your local grocer. I get it here in Silsbee at Brookeshire Bros.
  9. A little common opponent comparison: Hamshire-Fannett Oct. 11 - Hardin-Jefferson, 22-21* Oct. 18 - at Liberty, 36-24* Silsbee Oct. 18 - at Hardin-Jefferson, 58-24* Oct. 25 - Liberty, 38-14* Give me Silsbee by 16

  12. Cut off numbers have normally moved up around 15-40 but not as much as 80-90. Lumberton will be going back to 5A.
  13. Cut off numbers normally go up so if that is United's number then they will definitely move down to 5A DI.
  14. We have a thread to post the snap shot numbers. Please post them there. Thanks
  15. Just for reference, these were the cutoff numbers in last realignment: [Hidden Content] 6A 2190 and above 5A DI 1840-2189 5A DII 1150-1839 4A DI 790-1149 4A DII 505-789 3A DI 335-504 3A DII 225-334 2A DI 161.5- 224 2A DII 105-161.4 1A DI 55.5-104.9 1A DII 55 and below
  16. But it's not just extra points and FG's. Kickoffs are bad, giving up field position and punting is terrible. A school with that size enrollment shouldn't have that bad a kicking game. Silsbee (and other schools I have seen this season) has an enrollment 3 times less than West Brook but their special teams is much much better than the Bruins.
  17. One thing for sure going forward, West Brook has to do something about their kicking game. Probably the worst I have seen this season. It will cost them in a tight game in playoffs. There has got to be someone who can punt and kick on that campus.
  18. Final North Shore 54 West Brook 25
  19. I will say this, #2 and #12 for West Brook could play for North Shore as starters.
  20. Evans with a 66 yard TD run 54-25 NS 5:34 4th Evans has 6 carries for 180 yards and 2 TD's
  21. West brook with a score to make it a little more respectable. 47-25 5:45 4th
