Jasper might have been overrated but I saw Diboll with my own eyes. They are good. Newton good? No. But still very good. As for Diboll scores, they blew out every opponent. Your views are very skewed wearing those purple eagle glasses. smh

From what I have been told, EC will have school Monday and their game Friday vs. Woodville is a go.

Lumberton may have played some weak teams but they did schedule Jasper, Concordia and Silsbee. Jasper game was cancelled due to weather and Concordia game was replaced with Evadale due to weather. So the initial schedule was tougher than what it ended up being. Now one could criticize the scheduling of Kirbyville and Furr, but many schools mix their schedules with tough games and easier opponents. The Evadale game was just a situation where both teams needed to play.

Actually, this was the game I had planned on going to. Glad I saved the trip and went to Jasper. Much better game. SA is the real deal!

Both teams turned it over 4 times. Both teams had players missing. Difference in this game was line play. Diboll was much better on the offensive and defensive lines. Still surprised at how small Jasper is on defense. A power run team with a big offensive line will give them fits. I came away impressed with Diboll. They will definitely move up some more in my rankings.
