  1. A perfect example of the AP poll: Ashly Elam‏ @AshlyVYPE 11m11 minutes ago PNG beats PA Memorial, moves to (5-0) and loses two of their votes in the AP Poll.Indians only received one vote. gotta love the AP Poll
  2. At this point, better than Silsbee.
  3. We post the AP rankings here along with the DCTF rankings. AP does not have basketball or baseball rankings. Majority of people know how biased and skewed the AP rankings can be. Just ask folks that are heavily involved in Texas HS football. AP is based on sports writers and their nominations. I have personally seen teams voted on or not voted on only because a writer had a bias. Very, very subjective poll. Trust me, I used to be involved with AP rankings. Just ask Gabe. I trust the guys at DCTF, they know their business.
  4. Texas Football. The most accurate rankings. AP is a joke

  7. Yes they were. #22 DCTF and they still are #24 DCTF
  8. Both left on their own. LilTex came back after some private discussion.
  9. My point, neither played QB at next level. Neither had the arm of Johnson. And the question was when has a top 3 nationally ranked QB come out of PA? Neither of them were nationally ranked. Dodge and Stump were ranked.
  10. Neither of these were considered dual threat QB. But both were highly ranked QB's, both playing for high profile schools in Texas and Texas A&M.
  11. Neither of these were ranked top 3. Actually both were way down the QB rankings. Singleton was ranked high as a DB
  12. Somewhat. Still crews working out of local chapter. Mostly small school games.
  13. This is the 6A/5A SETXsports.com Game of the Week.
  14. Obviously they would do better at 4A DI but I think they could be competitive at 5A DII.
  15. I believe Ozen will stay up due to the UIL splitting 5A into division districts. Ozen will have enough enrollment to be 5A DII.
  16. Not doing anything of the such. Why would he say he is done with the site and then come back? To me (and others) he is basically bad mouthing the site saying it's not any good and not worth his time. Why would we encourage that kind of a member?
  17. Never said he did. Just stated he did play some in the 2nd half of the games I posted. You said he hadn't played past half time but one other game. That is incorrect.
  18. Again, I don't go off stats only when making comparisons. Elia played 2nd half against St. Thomas and College Park. Not a lot, but did play. He also played in 2nd half against Montgomery
  19. Johnson better than Howard. But Howard has potential being just a soph.
  20. Having not seen Lufkin or Oak Ridge, I could not make a fair statement. But, we only have to compare the teams defenses. I think PAM defense is better than Lufkin and Oak Ridge defenses. But since WB hasn't played either of those teams this season, it's not relevant, yet.
  21. See Grad's post. BE had Johnson with 212 yards passing.
  22. Again, the competition to me is irrelevant in making the comparisons. Each would do quite well had they played for each other's teams.
  23. Actually, everyone is using Houston Chapter in 22-5A and most other districts as well. Local chapter is practically gone.
  24. 1 team, The Woodlands. PAM is better than the rest of the teams West Brook has played so far this season. Saw them play St. Thomas and College Park. Memorial definitely better than those two.
