I still think this is about the stupidest crap show ever. I still try to understand what was so bad. He called Magic "a black man"......proper wording used. He asked his hooker to not bring him to games and rub it in his face.......nothing wrong there.......he did not say "no blacks allowed at Clippers games". He was recorded in a private conversation which is wrong......the only "crime" committed.
 
I sure hope no one records conversations that I have in my private home because I, as most everyone on here, have said things that may not be in best taste.

If I was bragging about the 4 horseman on my team, and all their world class athletic abilities, I think I would be talking about winning state. Not being strong in district play again.

I don't concern myself much with hd either , this guy makes himself and easy target

I cannot understand this guys logic, or anyone who thinks like him. Irregardless of their skin color. And we have them that think that way, and they come in all colors. What really gets me, is the guy is educated, I'm assuming. Being around people of all different races, you come to realize that it's not the color of your skin, or where your from that matters. This guy will get his, you can bet on that. To many good people in America to let this guy get away with what he has said. The league, his wife, lawsuits, he's going to feel it. Might be to late to change his thought process, but maybe not.

If a good coach goes to a school which previously never really had a winning program, he will need support from the entire staff, and the community as well. It's not enough to want to win. You have to do what's necessary. All key leaders in that school as well as parents and fans must buy into the coaches program. Might take a minute to attain results. If he is successful, watch out. He becomes a commodity.
And I agree, this is a step up from Deweyville, strictly by virtue of size of school, and of course. Being in the district with Newton ,you might need Tom Landry's help to overcome that obstacle.

Indians were not American citizens and if things hadn't developed the way they did, we would not be on computers discussing it on this board. Show me any new country in history that was formed without the killing of the aborigines and the takeover of their land. It is certainly not unique to America.

let's not get carried away here.  west orange stark has some very good athletes but the university of texas and coach strong are not worried about what people from west orange stark think.  its the university of texas for goodness sake.  recruits come to them more than they search for recruits. 
 
i looked at the longhorns current roster.  here are some numbers:
 
98 players on the roster
 
83 from the state of texas
 
1 from the golden triangle (2 if you count cleveland, texas as part of the triangle)
 
0 from west orange stark
 
hell, theres a player from scotland and from saudi arabia on the roster.
 
 
no disrespect meant to the players or coaches west orange stark, but the texas longhorns and coach strong will be just fine with or without west orange stark.

Actually, when you look at it from a "Texas" standpoint instead of a local fans, it was something they had to do. You can't offer a full athletic scharship to a kid that you aren't absolutely positive on. I agree that he's a great athlete, but me, as well as the Texas staff, aren't completely sure that he will be able to contribute to the team. That's why they've told him he needs to prove it to them. When and if he does that, he will get the scholarship he deserves. He's a great kid and a great football player. But when there are limits on how many scholarships you can hand out, coaches are very careful and concise when picking out recipients for these scholarships. Not everyone will be happy about it, but that's college football. By the way, Charlie didn't offer a scholarship to Shaw. Coach Brown did. When Charlie was evaluating his commitments, he decided to pull the scholarship because he wasn't 100% sure that Shaw could contribute as well as he needs him to.

Not Likely. Newton plays the caliber of teams like West Orange Stark. And bigger schools year in, and year out. But they don't go around beating there chest about beating anyone. They play football, everyone knows the caliber of program they have. HD step up. Prove your steel. I see the individual that started talking all this nonsense hasn't spoken lately. Talk the Talk, Walk the Walk. They dint talk about HD or any other team. Everyone talks smack in the middle of the season. But most teams has respect for each other. Most people that talk alot overcompensate for their athletic abilities. I think this is the case here.

Why should anyone have to remove their child so a transgender teacher can stay?

If she/he is really in this for the kids, they should find an ISD that is accepting of them...I'm sure they're out there.

It probably has nothing to do with teaching. I find it strange that a man dresses as a woman in a classroom setting. 
 
I could care less about sexual preferences, who is sleeping with who or what he does inside of his own home. I just think it is wrong. 
 
If he wants a sex change, go for it and become a woman and then wear a dress. 
 
I think that if we put some thought to it, we might find a lot of people that have a great ability to teach but that we might not want to be in front of children. Heck, being topless in TX is not against the law. Should male or female teachers be able to teach without covering up because it i legal and the teacher might be great? 

Probably not, they made a significant effort to schedule the worst teams possible over the years.

My school has won more 1st round playoff matchups than HD, something that the HD football program is allergic to.

I am a huge college fan but this ruling is ridiculous. I say if they want to be considered employees of the college then they need to see what it is like to be in the work force. Go ahead and pay these kids but, cut back on the scholarship percentage and let them see what it's like to be a working man and pay for what you want......I believe an athlete that gets his tuition paid for and stays in the athlete's dorms with meals is enough for these kids. If they want spending money then let them work in the offseason and learn to save......receiving a scholarship to a college is an honor not a priveledge. Some kids now days are so spoiled they don't appreciate what is given to them, all they want is more. This is going to hurt college sports a whole lot more then help it. Big schools will even suffer in the long run. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Look what happened to the NFL since the union came in. It created a lot of greedy men who are basically playing for the money and not for the passion of the game like it should be. Same will happen in college....Just wait.

I've said this before but I will reiterate. The rights for everyone as Americans has been fought and died for countless times. People just don't seem to understand that. People with similar ideals as Nugent stood up to governments with their "fingers in the air" mentality. Britain, Germany twice, Italy, Japan, Russia (Bay of Pigs), China in Vietnam and Korea......people like PAMFAM just don't realize that had Hitler conquered the world, PAMFAM would not exist because there would be only one race. He should thank people like Nugent for his views, even though he is not in complete agreement with each and every word, at least thank him for having convictions and speaking his mind, not allowing himself to be ran roughshod so that PAMFAM has the right to speak his mind on here.
