K. Barnes was just figuring it out at the end of last year. His skill set (Strength, size, speed) will only make the other players even more Dangerous. Mackey, with his sure handedness, had 1400yds because of timing issues between the outside receivers (under thrown, over thown, etc.) IF Jones can get on the same page with Barnes & Lowe.. where the true speed is, then big plays down the field is what will open up every other part of the offense. Look for Tyler and Thomas to have HUGE years. Tyler is the feature back for sure, but leave Thomas one on one with some poor kid and its lights out. You will almost never bring him down with one tackler. My dark horse breakout player. Adonis Thomas. jmo

Daniel Elizondo following Tiger Nation with vigor. Didnt make this morning but was told emphasizing team discipline. Mistake made. Everybody down. Conditioning is a must for Tigers since it's seems to always take a month for Tigers to gel. Oh...one more thing PLENTY of size in the trenches. Could be an interesting change in offense style.

More of my point that this game should be a litmus test for Silsbee's defense. Whether or not the mentality change is in the works. Silsbee fans hope so. No reason with the talent they have not to be playing a real aggressive style of defense. I know of another school that has achieved great things this way....

If what Im hearing is true then Silsbee is pushing a change in defensive mentality. No more of the "soft coverage" venue. Was painful to watch corners and safeties place so far off receivers.

Well then .... Pitching has gotten even MORE thin at the High School level. Mixed feelings.
