But go ahead and defend him. I simply was trying to see what kind of offense Evadale runs (An example would be they run the Spread). Not very hard to answer
2. If you want to see a future star come watch Kelly and the Village School play. The Village school has the number 18 player in the nation for the class of 2012. (Shaquille Cleare) Big Man with great touch around the basket. Kelly split the series last year so it should be an interesting set of games. Also Kelly and St. Thomas. Always a big rivalry
3.
Offense=One that scores Defense=One that doesnt allow you to score
Thanks for providing absolutely zero information. Genius.
4. What kind of offense/defense does evadale run
5. What kind of offense/defense does evadale run?
6. Think about the lesson he learned in high school....No major suspension....
7. Kelly loses 10-3. Absolutely had this game stolen by the refs. Two touchdowns called back. Including the game tying score. Over 100 yards of penalties called on Kelly 15 on St. Thomas. Team played well all things considered.
8. The lessons we learn in high school impact our life. Jefferson must have got the idea from his high school incident that he could do whatever he wanted and nothing would happen to him. Maybe if his high school coach would have come down hard on him he would have learned a lesson. Sad situation.
9.
All i can do is shake my head in frustration......This kid had everything he needed to make it to the nfl or nba. I hope he can get things straight at baylor......but if not LU will Take him in
Willie Jefferson had no chance to make it to the NBA
10. As usual, lots of class from Sgtrey...Eddins was hurt in the game really hurt the Bulldogs offense. Gotta regroup for St. Thomas
Maybe they would but they wouldn't have the depth And numbers they do at their current schools. Your going to discount teams for playing schools similar in size to themselves? Kelly has kids that could start at Westbrook, Menard could start at running back for alot of 5A teams same goes for Ford. The difference between 5a schools and the smaller classifications is the depth. There are not as many talented kids at smaller schools because there aren't as many kids in the school.  Its really simple bigger pool of kids is going to have more talented kids. Don't discount kids because they play similar schools in terms of size.
Nobody is discounting anybody, however, a talented player can put up bigger numbers against small school competition.  What do you think C Michael's numbers would have looked like if he played at Kelly, or Hardin?
Probably similar to Fords last year But like I said he wouldn't have as much talent around him so you would be able to key on him more.
Can't find this Taylor kid listed in Rivals or Scout..Where is he going to school?
Probably, no where. But I say probably. He could find his way to a small college. Taylor is a true product of a system. It also helps that this system is very good against 2A and below teams. Most teams that Hardin faces do not ever see that kind of passing attack any other time during the season.
Very true. Ask Liberty how they faired against Kelly and Eddins. As far as no one being close to the kid from Hardin? There are several quarterback who are putting up similar numbers.
14. Dakota Edddins from Kelly. He is a pure passer and leading the area in passing going into last week.
15. The Kelly Bulldogs are coming off a disappointing loss in their district opener against Houston Christian. However, there is no time to sit and sulk for the Bulldogs as defending District 3 champs Houston St. Pius comes to town. The Bulldogs will host the panthers this Friday at Bulldog Stadium (7:30). To all Bulldogs fans: After a disappointing crowd last week, mainly from the Kelly Student Section, the call is going out to come and support your Bulldogs. Please fill the stands and line the fences as Kelly goes for the upset. The game will be a Blue-Out so come dressed in blue and be rowdy. The Kelly football team needs your support. So this Friday: Come Early, Be Loud, Stay Late. Go Bulldogs!
16. What kind of offense did Legacy run? Spread?
17.
You people are awful and horrible. I graduated from Crosby High School int he Top 10%, I was number 25 in my class of 300. I made a 86 in Ms.Kelly E. Tumy's Dual Credit Class Comp. 1 English, , my junior year. Thank all of you for the negative comments you can fail me I try to be nice and write a story and get criticized for it. To all the people who use this site it makes me angry that you can attack me. I make some mistakes and your going to attack me for this. Get a life you arrogant bastards, I could care less what you all think. I try to do something nice and all I get is negative comments thanks to the one person who liked this article.
Once again..... He never came on here and said I am a college kid. HE portrayed himself as a journalist, so if you are going to say you are a journalist be prepared to take criticism. Don't lie about your credentials next time...and a statistician? I play Madden that doesn't make me an offensive coordinator. I made a 86 in Ms.Kelly E. Tumy's Dual Credit Class Comp. 1 English......You brought this up why.....
18.
My name is Justin Aaron Kelm I am  a graduate of Crosby High School and  am a journalist and statistician. I write stories for the Crosby Cougars. I do independent stats as well. By: Justin Aaron Kelm The Coogs came into the “Reservation” in Groves, Texas as they took on the Port Neches Indians sporting a 0-1 record, craving a win.  The night was awful and the Coogs couldn’t get anything going the game kicked off and the PN-G Indians came out with a furry, these Indians wanted to scalp the Coogs.  PN-G (1-1) basically wore down the smaller Cougars (0-2) and the gashes in Crosby's defense began to enlarge wider and wider after the Indians owned only a 10-0 halftime advantage. Honestly, everything about PN-G's second-half performance looked great, even though Crosby owned more first downs and total yards at halftime. Quarterback Brennan Doty for the Indians had the better night of two well-respected passers, completing 12 of 18 for 178 yards and four touchdowns. Crosby counterpart Dominic Merka was 14 of 33 for 193 yards and a score, but two interceptions. Here's the misleading aspect of Merka's night, though. The Crosby passer was 4 of 12 for 41 yards with two interceptions at the end of three quarters. The Indians had a 31-0 upper hand before the TCU pledge ever piled up his numbers.  PN-G's defense did not try to suffocate Crosby by any means. The Indians linebackers and corners loosened the space at the line of scrimmage and allowed themselves a cushion to cope with Crosby's speed and Merka’s skills as a runner and thrower. Crosby ran for a net of 15 second-half yards at the same time that PN-G's offensive line was bringing out the hammer.  PN-G's starting receivers showed good speed on this outing too. Amir Jalali grabbed five balls for 81 yards and two scores. Jayce Nelson looked like a faster version of Spencer DeRon, catching five for 58. Collin Gizzi had 2 for 39 and has seemed to be good for at least one big play night after night. Schexnider and Hunter Knox intercepted Merka who had two other disasters in the first half's final three minutes. A high snap sailed over punter Merka's head, setting up the Indians' first touchdown. Crosby answered back, moving from its 27 to PN-G's 21 in the half's final minute. Merka kept the ball on an apparent quarterback draw. Safety Tanner Jorgensen jarred the ball loose and end Christian Shetley claimed the free ball for PN-G on the Tribe's 14. The Coogs just couldn’t get anything going and all heck broke lose, but the only good thing on the night was when Merka connected with Wide Receiver  Willie Hebert for a 41 yard jack, making  the score 31-7 in favor of the Indians with 10:27 left in the 4th. After the Indians gave up the first score of the night, the Coogs defense couldn’t contain them; the Indians Brennan Doty had a 14-yard run and scored on the Coogs with 7:43 left in the game, making the Indians up 38-7 over the lonely Cougars. The Coogs couldn’t get anything going and the Indians just decided to run the ball till the final whistle. The Indians knocked off the Crosby Cougars, by a final score of 38-7. 19. Does anyone know who to contact at Beaumont Enterprise and Houston Chronicle to get some stats corrected...some stats were attributed to completely wrong players for Kelly this week.
20.
Don't you love it when commenters eat their words!!! "Newton will win by as many as they want" ;)
A moron is a moron.
21. I really think the refs were a wash both ways. Pass interference flag that was picked up was definitely a flag I was standing two feet away from the play and the pass interference flag on Cook was a horrible call. There were some bad calls both ways.
22. He could be Steve Spurrier and it wouldn't matter. Legacy does not have the players plain and simple. You can scheme all you want but the players have to execute.
