1. I'm not doubting the talent at WOS but HF 7th grade team is not nearly as talented as the 8th grade team is.
 2. Than maybe you can explain the East Chambers and Kelly Situation, aggies?
 3. Let me be clear I am NOT faulting Legacy for their schedule in my original post. I was just pointing out their strength of schedule. They are free to play whoever they want. But when you are going to give Kelly grief for losing to Bridge City and Liberty than I will go after who Legacy plays.
 4. St. Anne A 55 Legacy      0 St. Anne B  38 Mauriceville 7B 16
 5.
Its the same schedule that they played last year and many of those schools they lost to.  Its not their fault High Island doesn't have the numbers this year.  Nobody took it easy when Legacy went 0-10 2 years ago are any of the previous years.  They have a 9-12 grade enrollment of if they are lucky 200 and 65% of that are girls so they are playing who they should be playing. Kelly Basketball,  you must wanted some of those kids that chose Legacy over Kelly on your basketball team.  And come back to this thread in 5 weeks cause they'll be 10-0 and do some more of your whining. If Coach Hobbs leaves for greener pastures next season then your 2-3 Bulldog team won't be over shawdowed because we know that this is what all this about for you...
Kelly Basketball,  you must wanted some of those kids that chose Legacy over Kelly on your basketball team.  HAHAHAH thats just about the funniest thing I've read all day. I've gone through this point so many times but one more wont hurt....Legacy had their best 8th grade basketball team ever by their own admission last year...they played St. Anne's twice, lost by 30 and in the second game there coach quit and pulled his team off the court after one of his kids sucker punched a kid from St. Anne (oh yes they were also down by 15-20 points in the first half when this happened. So there is no basketball player that I would want at Legacy. We'll just put a fresh layer of polish on our state championship trophies and legacy well they can um clean their floor since they don't have any to polish? I'm just pointing out Legacys strength of schedule or lack there of as I was told that it played a part in the poll. Kelly will continue to play Vidor and Bridge City and Liberty and challenge themselves....Legacy maybe they can play Burkeville 3 times next year. I would also think that someone who coached at Legacy would be familiar with the rules of tapps.
 6. The records of Legacy Christian Academy's four opponents so far.... Houston KIPP (0-5) Burkeville (0-4) Sabine Pass (1-4) Burkeville (0-4) But hey they are a 1st place team by one moderator on this site.
 7. Still have yet to get a response for why East Chambers is ranked ahead of Kelly when they have identical records and Kelly beat them. Oh and for the jokster who gave Legacy their first place vote (clearing showing what a joke this poll is), the combined record of Legacy's opponents (counting Burkeville twice since Legacy plays them twice?) is 1-17. Quality Schedule
 8. Liberty was ranked at the time when they played Kelly. Second if it's  not based on who would beat who than shouldnt be based on who DID beat who. Kelly beat East Chambers AT East Chambers. Kelly has the same amount of losses as East Chambers, so please explain that logic of Kelly being ranked behind East Chambers. Iowa State was undefeated and going into last weeks game with Texas but wasnt anywhere near being ranked, because they haven't played anyone. A poll should factor in strength of schedule.
 9. No newton will still probably be ahead of yall because evidently head to head doesnt matter
 10. So Kelly goes on the road and beats East Chambers AT East Chambers, and is still ranked behind them? What a joke.
 11. because of you and your loud mouth. Since the other thread is mysteriously missing I will repeat my comments. You are living vicariously through your brother and bringing negative attention to him because of your loud mouth comments. Another poster echoed these thoughts on the other thread. He is a great player but your comments bring in the negativity. Secondly you felt the need to belittle two athletes who gave their all tonight to help their team win, you should be ashamed of yourself for bringing up Wilson and Schrapps in the negative way you did. You are Pathetic. And I already know your response will be about meeting up and fighting so please save it.
 12. This is typical of legacy...they schedule teams they have no buisness playing and then run up the score to make themselves look good. Than they play a real team and get stomped all over the field.
i was wrong about schrapps on d.. and what else? and i only begin to defend liberty's players once they were being downed by others. would you like me to start an I WAS WRONG ABOUT SCHRAPPS ON D CAMPAIGN? i never said the kid didn't have talent nor did i put him down per se.. if i talked down on anything it was NORTH TEXAS' FOOTBALL PROGRAM.. and i stand by my comments that NORTH TEXAS isn't exactly the class of DIVISION 1 FOOTBALL.. so again, your point is?
Exact Quote: Isnt he playing d because he had no d1 offers at WR Nice Try Never said anything negative about any liberty players just said let them mature and see how things go in the coming thread. I've been complimentary of your QB on this thread and of Jones on the Best WR thread.

I never said Kelly was a D1 factory I just stated facts about two seniors who are being recruited. You are stating your opinion about certain players being D1 caliber. Liberty has one player with division 1 offers. The rest is just your opinion
Just Mark My Words, The 2011-2012 Liberty Panther Roster Will Have More D1 Recruits Than Kelly's 2011-2012 Roster, Maybe Twice As Many. But of course that statement will be blown off until it happens... So when these juniors and sophomores commit in the next few years, you know when some can officially be recruited, remember that it was just our opinion, and just pure speculation.
Do you realize how stupid that statement is?? They won't be the 2011-2012 Liberty Panthers when they become Juniors and Seniors, they will be the 2012 and 2013 Liberty Panthers, nice try though

 19. Oh and since you seem to have a little trouble with the concept football is played with 11 players not 1 so Kelly's  linebacker Brandtley Wilson will be part of a TEAM effort to stop Liberty.

Kelly returns 18 starters from last year tops in the area. Kelly has played the tougher schedule by far as well. Liberty returns only 5 starters from a defense that gave up 300 passing yards in the first half last year and led to Dakota Eddins winning the Built Ford Tough player of the week. Typical, that someone who has no idea what he is talking about to get on here with no reasoning what so ever. That being said Kelly still has to improve on the offensive side of the ball and cut down on turnovers. Kelly played extremely well on Defense against Bridge City and look for that to continue. Liberty's QB really played well last year even though their was a great number of drops from his receivers. This should be a great game.
If you consider giving up 21 points well then your crazy being that Liberty has given up 7 all year, yes they have had a weak schedule but Porter is a 4A team with a new QB who is commited to a D1 school so they can't be too bad. And who cares about what the secondary did last year? Huntington, and Hardin threw all over them last year and scored a combined 110 points, but this year a combined 0, the defense has improved greatly, the seniors who left the secondary won't be missed.
Liberty hasn't faced anyone on par with Matt Menard, Mark Roberts, and Dishon. Kelly only gave up 20 points to liberty and one of those touchdowns was a pick 6. Another touchdown came after Kelly fumbled the ball on its own 30, so yes the defense played extremely well against a QUALITY opponent. Please don't forget that Kelly scrimmaged Hardin and beat them like a drum as well. Also think it's funny that when mr. undeveloped was provided with facts he backed off his opinion pretty quick. Where were these two monster running backs last year?
ok here is my opinion and why... dennis antoine.. 35 att. for 520yds an 4td's.. jordan jones.. 12 att. for 141 and 4td's.. fregia averages 6+yds a carry and fitz averages 7+ oh, and btw the passing game is the strength.. no one is stopping 6'4" wr mosley in the redzone or on deep balls and jones will torch ya'll again just as he did last year.. and williams is greatly improved from last season.. the d will def. not give up more than 21 to kelly, if that.. they've only given up 7 this year and that td only came because of a late hit penalty at the very end against several 2nd stringers and a few starters.. i know that liberty hasn't played any of the lake travis' of the world and i know that liberty isn't great by far, however holding every team scoreless says a lot..liberty will outscore kelly, period. and the d probably won't pitch another shutout, but i find it hard to believe they'll give up more than 21... ya'll beat em by a score last year and they were terrible..
No one is stopping Mosley? Nick Schrapps is a 6'3 200 lb safety who is a North Texas commit. Who do you think is going to win a jump ball. Also, Brandtley Wilson didnt play last year due to an injury. Can u honestly tell me an all state linebacker wouldn't have made a difference in libertys run game? Once again, where was these kids last year, if they are so good, where are their Div. 1 offers. Please don't be ignorant. Kelly beat Hardin so bad they quit half way thru the scrimmage. I can't wait till Kelly beats liberty
aaron mosley is a 6'4" b-ball beast.. btw he's a sophomore an I KNOW he'd win the jump ball hands down!! last year he was an injured freshman.. point? what has schrapps done this season? isn't he playing safety now cuz he got no d-1 offers as a wr? and last time i checked NORTH TEXAS was barely d-1!! is that the best you got? wow.. sun belt conference? and who cares bout this world beater of a lb you refer to.. lets see him stop liberty from hangin 40+.. seriously.. btw melton has offers from colorado, NORTH TEXAS, tulane, utep, utsa.. but he just commited to texas state.. the others are JUST NOW juniors.. guarantee some offers by seasons end. last year head to head comparison when they played each other schrapps 7 rec. 75 yds 0 td's.. Jones 10 rushes 89 yd's  2 td's 5 rec. 84 yds 1 td.. i'm sure they're shaking in their shorts.. haha
Isn't it funny how Kelly people are complentary of alot of the players for Liberty and than you have people like this that come on here and run off at the mouth. I've complemented both the QB and the WR because they are clearly talented. First off, basketball beast? Nick Schrapps was an All State Basketball Player who hung with the big dogs in Houston playing for the Houston Hoops Organization the premier team in Houston. Schrapps has been starting on the defensive side of the ball since he was a freshman, so he has always played defense. He had a scholarship offer from Air Force is the Mountain West more up to the high division 1 standards that Liberty has? He was invited to Syracuse's Junior Day, does the Big East meet your seal of approval? So your telling me that Liberty has 4 to 5 Division 1 players, but they are just now getting playing time? Seems to me Division 1 talents seems to find its way on to the field as Wilson and Schrapps did at Kelly. I didnt realize that Liberty was a Division 1 factory either.
