1.
That's how many times he attempted a pass. Not how many times a pass was called, if he was sacked or scrambled there isn't going to be a pass attempt.
Thank you for clearing up how football statistics work for all of us. Quinn is going to be one heck of a football player. Hes got good size for a freshman and a great work ethic. I'd like to see them turn the reins over to him next year if he's ready for the job at QB.
2. On a side note, does silsbee have Kelly on the basketball schedule this year? It's been going for about four years I think, didn't know if either coach was looking for a new matchup.
3.
As an innocent bystander, I will take Kelly basketball's word over everyone else on this thread. I know who he is and what he does. ;)
Amen  :D
4. Seeing as how I've watched every Kelly game for the last three years from the field I'd say I know what im talking about.
5. Someone who knows nothing about Kelly maybe shouldn't act like they are an expert. There were no tweaks to the offense last seaso.  The offense you saw on the field and the plays that were being run was the MIKE LONG offense. They didn't have the horses last year and just had decent players? They had two players go play division one football and another is a starter this year for Texas Lutheran. As far as other comments made. The 3-4 is not going to be effective this season because they don't have the nose tackle needed on the d line. You need a player like a Tebo from liberty that is going to demand a double team and can make plays. They have two sophomores on the d line who should be playing the majority of the snaps at the defensive end spots. They both will be great players down the road. My problem is that the starting tailback and fullback are playing the outside linebacker spots and are taking a beating having to take on offensive lineman. I think the system can work down the road but this year it looks a little rough. Best of luck to Coach Holmes.
6. Why do you keep bringing up Long as if he was fired? Many at Kelly wish he was still the coach, including myself. One of the best offensive minds and an even better person.
7.
Magic you are amazing. Even in the down years with Long, when they didn't have much , they NEVER lost 60-21 period!  Much less to a 1a school. Last year all you did was criticize Kelly's offense who scored almost 42 pts a game and now you defend this. It's very clear you don't know much about football. So much for that attacking 3-4 defense.
It's pretty clear that your the one who doesnt know anything about football. Let's recap what they lost. 9 of 11 starters on Offense including an all state center, an all district fullback, an all state running back, another all district running back and an all state wide receiver. On defense they lost  9 of 11 starters with an all state linebacker and an all state safety and more all district players. You tell me what team could lose all of that and still be successful and throw in replacing the head coach, offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator, and wide receivers coach. Yeah that's real easy to do. Second anyone who knows anything about the team knows that the current senior and junior classes aren't very strong. There is a very strong sophomore class and a strong freshman class. So I don't understand how the cupboard is bare. St Anne's has been 9-1 the last two years. Everyone knew this was going to be a down year
8. Congratulations to Freshmen Armando Ledet on Winning Defensive Line MVP at this weekends Schuman's National Underclassmen Combine in Houston. Started at Left Tackle for the State Runner Up Kelly Bulldogs this season.

16. Armando Ledet, Nigel Barber, Allonte Wingate all play Varsity exclusively. Sean Bebeau, Chris Falgout and Andrew Pace also play with the varsity and all see time with the varsity. If the basketball team can get another ninth grader who chose not to play this year because of baseball to play next year, look for Kelly to have 7-8 sophomores playing varsity.
17. Kelly wins 68-47. Best game the Bulldogs have played all year by far. Balanced scoring, they won every quarter, it was fun to watch. Leading Scorers Thomas Falgout 16 Nick Schrapps 12 William Reese 10 Nigel Barber 10 Andrew Pace 7
18. HF 75 Kelly 57 Tough game for the Bulldogs, as they were down their starting center depleting a team already lacking in height. 7 freshmen suited up tonight, and the Bulldogs were led in scoring by freshman Andrew Pace with 21 points. The Bulldogs open district play Friday night at home against Pius.
19. Kelly defeats Burkeville 74-31. Thomas Falgout 15 points Allonte Wingate 11 points Andrew Pace 11 points Nigel Barber 9 points Armando Ledet 9 points Sean Bebeau 8 points.
20. Kelly went 1-3. Losses to SATCH, San Antonio Cole, and Magnolia West. Win was over Snook. Kelly brought 6 freshman to this tournament....extremely young.
