Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey reportedly called Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) on Tuesday, the same day he met with President Trump at the White House, to explain to her why Twitter didn’t take down a tweet from the president that she said resulted in threats against her, the Washington Post reported.
Trump's tweet, posted April 12, showed a clip of Omar at a CAIR event, saying “some people did something” about the September 11 hijackers spliced with images of the Twin Towers burning. Omar’s sound bite was a short clip from a speech she made about CAIR’s response to Islamophobia after the attacks.
Omar reportedly asked Dorsey during the call why the company didn’t immediately remove the tweet. Dorsey said Trump hadn't violated Twitter’s terms, however, he did admit Twitter needed to do a better job in keeping harassing and hateful posts off the site, according to the Washington Post.
 
What a wimp...he should have told her that anytime you spew your America hating garbage, we are going to show it...IN YOUR OWN WORDS.
If you don't want to receive threats, don't say crap like this worthy of being threatened over.

If you had to boil it down to only one word, this would be it.
On the flip side, parents can make a school better in many cases.

It’s a shame that Jasper would get a bad rap as a whole over what a few ignorant, evil individuals decided to do that day.  Let’s not forget the incredible job Sheriff Billy Rowles, DA Guy James Gray, and many others did to bring swift justice for the Byrd family and Jasper community.  For a small little community, they were blessed to have some very fine men leading the charge to justice.  As for the 20 years after that, well that’s the capital justice system for you.  

Agree...it certainly wasn't painless what these animals put Mr. Byrd through.

No punishment could have made up for what King did to Byrd.  And to all the good people of Jasper, which is most everyone there.  Easily overlooked is the fact that unlike many cases in the deep South, the three miscreants were all in jail within 24 hours, and tried and sentenced within a year or so.  No cover up here!  The people of Jasper were handed a job to do; and they did the right thing.  Glad this chapter is finally over.

It shows Trump was innocent...plain and simple.  This group spent two years investigating a man, not a crime.  This very anti Trump group went in with the presumption of guilt and I have no doubt were very disappointed that they couldn’t fulfill their responsibility of finding Trump guilty.

Get the fed gov and state out of the Independent School District.  Let decisions be made by the ISD. I understand there may be occasions where the state may have to step in but other than that, allow the ISD to administrate and educate as they see fit.  
Curriculum and even diet is way too influenced by outside dollars.

Just don’t get these libs, they don’t want to hold anyone accountable for anything they’ve done, unless it’s Trump, who they want to hold accountable for things he didn’t do.

I have a guess who locked it - and their sense of humor was not lost on me.   The best part of this board imo is the good natured laughs provided by all.  

If your religion that u practice teaches hate and killing then u lose ur civil liberties IMO. 
Also, hence that type of practice, should not be allowed in this country nor any country.

Let me throw out a fictitious scenario.  Lindsey Graham is the Independent Council to investigate Trump..  He’s going to have 16 lawyers helping.  How many do you think would be registered Republican voters?
Mueller may have been a Republican, but I can’t believe he still is.  He had 16 lawyers helping him and none were registered Republicans.  To give the appearance of impartiality, I can’t believe he didn’t have a few.

We are seeing the Washington Democrat hubris being exposed...as well as plain old dumb from folks like Maxine Waters.
It’s funny, pathetic and alarming all at the same time.

I’m inclined to feel sympathy for liberals.  They should be mad at nature.  It appears they were born with some kind of mental disconnection that prevents them from logical reasoning, common sense, and knowing when you have a good thing.  Rather sad, but a cross we have to bear.  Oh, and for your hard core liberals, no sense of humor  

Fire is still burning.  How amazing that some have already decided the cause.  I’m convinced that accidental fire will be the announced reason, no matter what the reason.  Btw, I’ll be the most shocked person in the world if they Official proclaim it was terrorism.

I'm not necessarily highly offended (offended, yes) by her "someone did something" line. It was crude, ill-advised, and dismissive about a deeply hurtful attack on our country, but I think her point was that the attack was perpetrated by individuals, not representatives of Muslims. If this her position, I still wholeheartedly disagree with it, as the attacks were carry out in the name of Islam. And she should be extremely criticized for making that statement, especially as a sitting member of Congress.
What troubles me more is her next line...which is a flat out lie. She said that Muslims "are starting to lose our civil liberties". This statement highly offends me. She should be ordered to prove which civil liberties Muslims have lost...and if/when she can't prove it, be removed from office. Not censured, removed. She uses an unprovoked attack on the United States to play victim. That is truly disgusting.

It’s been a while, but I remember him winning the U.S. Open by about 13 shots.
I also like Rahm. Spieth has been disappointing as of late.
