No .. Its a bad idea. Terrible idea.
That kid wouldn't be a part of the athletic period, wouldn't be subjected to the school rules that the rest of the team is subjected to, grades issue, too many to list.. If they want to play then enroll in the school.

I have known Darrell Barbay a very long time and know that he is for all programs. I have never seen or heard him "cuss someone" at all. That is b.s.! Like all of us, a curse word slips sometimes but this is crap if that "reliable" source is saying that.. Mirrors, smokescreens, and deals done in darkness! Coach Barbay will land on his feet while the muck of all this stays in Jasper. Coach Barbay is one of the finest men that I know and one of the most passionate educators that I've ever seen. Big loss for Jasper!

If y'all would have just taken care of Buna, like we did, there would have been no tie-breaker last year, but we won district last year, and y'all won it this year congrats! I understand the jab for winning the game, but don't single out a player!

I kinda had a feeling it would end like it did. And sorry but WOS would wipe the floor with both. Silsbee, Jasper and Newton could beat both probably. Nothing against either but size and depth matters. Not that it matters but where's the logic of ranking a team that lost to Bridge City who lost to both Jasper and Silsbee who both lost to WOS ahead of WOS?
Last year WOS was ranked the highest even though they lost to Newton who lost to Orangefield... Just sayin

Nice town, close to both lakes. Sad to see it go downhill. Hope they can rebuild it. I remember when they were playing in the semi-finals just 10 years ago. Another one is Burkeville. They really dropped off of the map.

Newton and Jasper both are SETX- Always have been. Both have always been in a district down here. Dang, Smoaky covers an area about 5 times the size of SETX anyways. And....nobody cares about small schools? Really? Tell that to 3000 people attending a rivalry game. All two way players btw... Iron man football at its best. Don't know why I'm even wasting my time responding to this troll.

Its just that having white as one of your colors limits you on choices whereas schools such as Westbrook, Kirbyvill, Hull Daisetta, Ozen, Vidor, Nederland, West Hardin, HJ, Evadale, etc that have two colors have more options because they can then use white to mix it up.
