  1. I get it...your in the tank for HJ. No problem. I don't care about rankings either. But just don't make up facts. You have no idea if Kirbyville had tough breaks or how many more anyone would have scored. I guess HJ had tough breaks against Kountze as well. Two common opponents that Kville ended up with a larger margin of victory over. I'm ok with HJ being ranked 1. They are a quality football team. I wish them much success. My only issue was your flawed ( and biased) reasoning.
  2. New to the thread.  One note... you've proven nothing except that you like to argue.  Getting someone who  admittedly doesn't know what you are talking about to "verify" doesn't exactly prove anything.

You may or may not have big clientele.  I hope you do.  But to say that you've shown anyone else up is ridiculous.

And at the end of the day... who the hell cares?

Did you really drop a "getcha some of dat" about being a pallbearer at the funeral of a man you purportedly respected?  It's commendable that the man respected you enough to have his family ask you to do that, but to use that as a feather in your cap to win an argument on a message board and talk about it flippantly like you did is pretty low rent and exemplifies why you are the leader in the clubhouse for this "award".  I don't have any rooting interest in 21-3A, but you make it so easy to root against HJ.

Ok, so you take what I said and twist it 360 degees to try to make me look like a jerk..... I see. Someone said my old coach would not have much respect for me.... I proved him wrong and said "getcha some some a dat".... Your the one trying to trn it in to something disrespectful.. You should really be ashamed of yourself. It is commendable and makes me very, very proud and you tried to take it away for what? A check mark on a 3A football blog... You sir are a jack ass....

    You ma'am, are pathetic.
  4. One other thing, lots of knee high cut blocks from Vidor

Lots, eh? Then you won't have any trouble recalling which plays, right? I hope that you are not from Kelly. The last thing the Bulldogs need is sore-loser fans.

I'm not from Kelly and my wife is from Vidor, which is why I was at the game.  I watched #30, I believe(small back) cut block at the knees all night.

Chop  blocks are perfectly legal.  Whats next?  You want to outlaw the sack?

  5. Who cares if a Kelly coach manhandled a kid. The kid probably needed it.

Exactly. A good coach doesn't coddle his players. I bet that kid dreaded going into the locker room at halftime.

A good coach shows instant disapproval at the first sign of wrong doing. Better to nip it in the bud now, not wait until district when the game start counting and your players are still committing stupid penalties.

OH Yes........ leading with FEAR is so much better than leading with respect. I forgot these kids are in the NFL and not just high school kids.

Coaches get fired for that type of behavior in public schools. If  I had kids that went to Kelly, I would want to see him gone.

LOL coaches do not get fired for that in public schools. We respected our coaches yes, but we sure didn't step out of line with them either.

  6. all i know is these guys from HD better hope that Haynes is feeling generous because he knows what this rivalry means and thanks to HD 55 he has seem to let everyone on this website know and this is not the year for HD to be running their mouths at Hardin because it could get ugly. HD55 if you think that gilmore kid is a beast wait until you watch the Villamez kid he will look like a man among boys aginst HD

NO PRESSURE HORNETS !!!!!!!!! It's just us the little 1A down the street. VILLAMEZ is my hero too !!!!!!!!! I hope he likes snot bubbles and getting hit in the mouth !!! NO throwing up Friday night !!! Them H-D HEAD-HUNTERS COMING !!!

What happened to the mighty HD "Head hunters"?  Looks like they were the ones blowing snot bubbles and getting hit in the mouth.

    Feared by who 55?

  7. Man, where have I been this summer?? Talk about some smack getting ran on a thread! But you know what, this is what Hull-Daisetta vs. Hardin is all about. As previously mentioned, it's a big rivalry game, and both teams show up with their A game, and it's usually a war. I talked to HD55 last night, and broke down my opinion to him. Hardin has talent, and alot of it. Minus Stelly and Pate, this is the same team that made a 2A playoff appearance last year, now with just more experience under their belt. HD lost proven leaders in stud RB Aaron Cook (who yes, did out-rush Stelly and Villamez combined last year), QB Sam Elliot who was a three year starter, and countless other seniors like Tre Dickerson, Scotty Gilmore and Yancy McCaully. Hardin on the other hand returns star RB Mitch Villamez, proven QB Myles Taylor, and explosive WR's like Hunter Davis. To top off HD's losses, their predicted starting QB Colby Huckabee transferred to Orangefield with his dad. If you look at all of the names and stats on paper, including Hardin having twice the enrollment numbers as HD, this one is a no-brainer. Hardin should take it to HD and never look back. You know what though, it probably won't happen because the Bobcats have two intagibles that cannot be coached, taught or stressed if it's not already present, and that is HEART and PRIDE. Hardin probably has 4 or 5 kids that may be better athletes than HD's best one, but it doesnt' matter. The last couple months, I have got to know several of this year's Bobcat team and I'm impressed with the fact that they are true bobcats, and know what it means to wear that uniform. I promise you when Friday night comes, and the bright lights shine upon the new Hornet field, HD will be ready, and they will will be as jacked up as you can possibly imagine. With the opening whistle, just like last year, Hardin will get hit in the mouth play after play by smaller, slower and less athletic kids wearing red and black all night long. That's what HD tradition is all about. We don't feel like we "can" win every game we play, we know we "will" win every game we play. Losing is not acceptable at HD, and you are groomed from a young age to understand this. The crime rate can be up, and the stock market down, but nothing matters in Daisetta except the Bobcats winning on Friday night. Like the old Aggie saying, we don't lose any games, we may just run out of time. This will be a battle as it always is, but I promise the Bobcats will show up and bring the hat. Hardin won't back down, as they are a talented well coached group of kids that knows how to win coming off last season. I can't wait for this game, and I hope everyone on this thread will be there to see this war. I'm not going to predict a score, I'm just gonna say let the best team win. Both teams bring it, and leave everything on the field. Good luck to both teams, and let's go BOBCATS!!!

LOL Bobcat55 said everybody hates Daisetta because they have the best athletes.  Which is it?
