They were up until today. All players have been cleared to play.

PN-G is focused on the team they play each week. Given the results of the season so far, looking ahead is not an issue with this team. Credit to the coaching staff for game planning each week, The players appear to almost always be in the correct position to make plays, and then execute them. No matter who the opponent is, the Indians line up each play, execute to the best of their ability, and then move on to the next play. When the current game is over, study of that game is done, lessons are learned and the coaches implement what is necessary. If we are ahead by about 28 points in the game, substitutions take place. If not, the starters stay in until the coach deems it time to rotate in more players. There have been some games this season where we could have put up 70 points and not just 45. It's 11 on 11 and you go 100% each play and see what happens, no matter the opponent. Looking ahead and not focused on the current week's game may happen to some teams, but I don't think it significantly effects Coach Joseph's teams.

I like Kingwood. I like their discipline play. I just don't see them taking the Eagles this year. I think they miss out on the PO's this year. If a rematch does happen, I'd take SC barring injuries. Don't think they'll let King get off to that hot start again. You could see King was fired up. SC didn't look like they were ready to play in the first half. Halloween night with NS @ King, and Angleton @ La Porte is gonna' be a whale of a night for football. Kiddos might have to get on a waiting list for candy. lol

Both sides need more Fettermans. Willing to use common sense and vote for what's best for the country and his constituents, rather than what his party tells him to vote for. I'll be honest, that's a statement I never thought I'd utter.

That's not how it works. Schools don't pay to have Texan Live do their games. TL pays the schools to do their games. Texan Live sets up contracts to have rights to do regular season games with schools. (Texan Live has all the rights for all playoff games thru the UIL). TL pays the schools for those rights. TL chooses who they want to broadcast on a regular basis. The schools do not choose TL. I do know thru our partnership with TL that they are spread pretty thin right now. Barely have enough crew to handle who they are currently broadcasting.

Really would have liked to see SC get that onside. Mo was on their side for sure. Had King on their heels a bit.

For both sides, I think they want their 15 minutes of fame, especially if they go against their party. Did they change anything for the better, or did they get their mug on tv.

Both have since retired, so unless Liberty County decides to pursue some type of charges, or the victims go after them in civil court, I'd expect this to be the last time we hear of this.

Thought this might be the outcome. But, didn’t think King would come out like they did and just make SC look like Pasadena. SC struggled this year against the only decent competition they’ve faced. Not the same on D after losing those 6 D1 players. Still a very good team though. King just too much speed. Sims was on afterburner. Might be a fun rematch in the D2 Final.

King let off the pedal some in the 2nd half.

It's going to be interesting to see how well the Foster kid can slang it. Newton is already unstoppable for the most part but if you all have a solid QB, it's lights out!

Why is it important to you as to the reason for these players missing these games? Non injury related. Not grades. Every school/team has their own policies and rules. When broken, consequences come.

With the advancement in passing offenses & rule changes that benefit the passing game allowing only 14 points a game average is great a defense. 19, 22 & 23 pts. a game is good defense.

HF has been without their best player for a few weeks now. He's out for the seasons with an injury. So both teams will not have their "best" team out there.

Prayers for his family and friends. That's a sad deal. Another tragedy, and we've had plenty in 2025.

I'm picking EC, but I won't be surprised if Anahuac makes a game out of it. There's a big disparity in records, but EC has had a pretty soft schedule, and the bucs may be the 6th best team that Anahuac will have faced out of 7 opponents. I'm not sure EC is much better than 2-4 if they'd played Anahuac's schedule so far, so the records may be a little misleading.

I wouldn’t be surprised by a 28-0 first quarter, with 2nd string taking over the rest of the game. End up with a quiet 42-7 or something like that. Splendora seems to be even worse than last year. I hope Tyson Henry and some of the other banged up guys don’t even see the field. I might go watch Nederland this week, tbh.

three teams worse than Newton (two significantly worse) have put up 35 on Woodville's D in 6 games. I struggle to see them holding Newton under 40. They'll also be the best defense Woodville has faced. I admire your confidence, but Woodville is deservedly the underdog here.

Vype moved RSS into their GHA Top 10 at #9 this week after their win over the Eagles. I can’t remember the last time they were ranked by anyone. Had to be back in the 90’s?

Anyone do any good? All the guys I hunt with got old, and nobody bow hunts anymore. I’d rather make that 4 hour drive and spend it with family than in an empty camp, so I only gun hunt up there now.
