They were up until today. All players have been cleared to play.

PN-G is focused on the team they play each week. Given the results of the season so far, looking ahead is not an issue with this team. Credit to the coaching staff for game planning each week, The players appear to almost always be in the correct position to make plays, and then execute them. No matter who the opponent is, the Indians line up each play, execute to the best of their ability, and then move on to the next play. When the current game is over, study of that game is done, lessons are learned and the coaches implement what is necessary. If we are ahead by about 28 points in the game, substitutions take place. If not, the starters stay in until the coach deems it time to rotate in more players. There have been some games this season where we could have put up 70 points and not just 45. It's 11 on 11 and you go 100% each play and see what happens, no matter the opponent. Looking ahead and not focused on the current week's game may happen to some teams, but I don't think it significantly effects Coach Joseph's teams.

I like Kingwood. I like their discipline play. I just don't see them taking the Eagles this year. I think they miss out on the PO's this year. If a rematch does happen, I'd take SC barring injuries. Don't think they'll let King get off to that hot start again. You could see King was fired up. SC didn't look like they were ready to play in the first half. Halloween night with NS @ King, and Angleton @ La Porte is gonna' be a whale of a night for football. Kiddos might have to get on a waiting list for candy. lol

Both sides need more Fettermans. Willing to use common sense and vote for what's best for the country and his constituents, rather than what his party tells him to vote for. I'll be honest, that's a statement I never thought I'd utter.

That's not how it works. Schools don't pay to have Texan Live do their games. TL pays the schools to do their games. Texan Live sets up contracts to have rights to do regular season games with schools. (Texan Live has all the rights for all playoff games thru the UIL). TL pays the schools for those rights. TL chooses who they want to broadcast on a regular basis. The schools do not choose TL. I do know thru our partnership with TL that they are spread pretty thin right now. Barely have enough crew to handle who they are currently broadcasting.

Really would have liked to see SC get that onside. Mo was on their side for sure. Had King on their heels a bit.

Why hello there! It's that time of year again (Bandtober) and the return of the annual UIL Region 10 Marching Band Contest! The contest will be held Saturday October 18, 2025 at Port Neches-Groves HS Stadium. The schedule shows 30 bands competing to earn that coveted Division 1 rating and the chance to move on to area competition and hopefully state competition. Admission has gone up to $7 according to the official UIL Region 10 website ([Hidden Content]). Admission is free for children 10 and under. I do plan to attend and record all the bands. If y'all want, come say hi to me as I battle the weather elements and try to get the best video/audio recordings of our local high school bands. Once I get back home, I will start to edit the video and audio, then post onto my YouTube Channel. If the weather stays like it has been throughout September and October so far, it will be an sunny day with highs reaching the upper 80s with a bit of a breeze throughout. I still have to apply the sunscreen, bust out the big umbrella, and keep well-hydrated. A reminder that ALL classifications will have the opportunity to advance past region to area/state competition. Keep in mind that we have separate open class (contemporary-style) and military class tracks for state marching band contest. Some of my thoughts: - One school missing from last year (2024) returning to the contest includes Warren. - West Hardin returns to contest after DNA'ing last year. - Lamar University does not appear to be performing for exhibition as they have done the last number of years. - Currently we have 3-2A, 9-3A, 12-4A, 6-5A bands participating. Best wishes to all participating bands as they finish learning their music/drill and polishing up their shows in the next week.

Tuned in to the news this morning and politicians from both sides do nothing but divide this country. It's no wonder many on here spew the same hate for the other side. It's a trickle down effect and it shows on here...

With the advancement in passing offenses & rule changes that benefit the passing game allowing only 14 points a game average is great a defense. 19, 22 & 23 pts. a game is good defense.

I'm picking EC, but I won't be surprised if Anahuac makes a game out of it. There's a big disparity in records, but EC has had a pretty soft schedule, and the bucs may be the 6th best team that Anahuac will have faced out of 7 opponents. I'm not sure EC is much better than 2-4 if they'd played Anahuac's schedule so far, so the records may be a little misleading.

Then the freshman Foster will pass for 300 , Woodville can’t cover Newton man on man . Woodville can’t matchup with Newton speed at receiver .. Samuel , Porter, Patterson will run past any Woodville defensive back

For some reason, I feel as though this game will be closer than expected. No score prediction, but I do feel like Anahuac can make a game of it.

Kevin Shorter got hurt in 2013 vs EC , Newton went on to win that game 43-21 . Newton last district loss was in 2011 to EC 39-34 . Newton freshman QB Isaiah Foster is a beast , he threw for a combined 400 yards in the last two games 6 tds 0 int . Newton will definitely throw the ball in this game , they have been really balanced since Foster took over at QB . Using multiple WR since the Tatum game . If Woodville only focus is stopping one of the best running backs in Texas , KJ Porter , then expect Foster to torch the defense. If Woodville respect the pass then expect Porter to run for 250 . Woodville hasn’t really played anybody, this will be the best secondary Babin faces all year. I doubt he leaves without an interception. The speed of Of newton’s defense is gonna cause a lot of trouble for Babin, he wont be running for first downs, he be running for his life , he won’t have near as much time to find a Receivers.

#5 Newton @ #8 Woodville would have been a much better eye catching title . Not often we get top ten matchups around setx .
