My best day of crabbing was with dead shrimp on a rod and reel on the Pleasure Island steps. Reeled them in on top of the water, made sure they had a hold when close, pulled them straight up and over the step and picked them off the ground. Caught about 4 dozen (that’s 48 for you college grads). If you went down the other end of the steps where the canes are, there was about a 7 foot gator there on the ground. He just laid there and I didn’t mess with him. I know better.

Again, this is an incorrect summary. You’ve done this repeatedly now. The Authorities didn’t ‘remove’ the girl and her siblings. The parents didn’t want to be separated & had no power of attorney or legal paperwork for anyone they knew to keep their children while they seek a humanitarian waiver. (Which I would think they’ll get. But, I don’t know if it those are only for the treatment time, or what.) I would think there should be a way to have some flexibility in certain circumstances. But, this is another issue where the parents were both illegally here & ignored an immediate removal order from long past. They had their hearing before their daughter was even diagnosed, were ordered to leave, and chose not to follow those directions.

I don’t remember hearing this type of outcry when the Obama Administration created Operation Janus and stripped people of their naturalization status and deported them.

Agree, very sad situation. But to baddog’s point, the left is going to be critical of Trump’s administration whether he keeps families together or “rips” them apart. They play these stupid political games when someone tries to fix a mess they’ve made much worse.

That’s the way I understand it as well. Technically the children were not deported. The parents chose to bring them. However that doesn’t not make it any less sad for the innocent children. It is a sad situation even if it’s justified.

I believe he is using the funds from USAID that sent rubbers to Syria. Probably not enough. Might also use the funds for trans clinics in India.

No. This happened in Beaumont. He doesn't comment when things like this happen there. Now when it happens in other cities, towns and communities in our area, he is all over it. Very very quick to respond.

I don't like to get involved in any hiring process or campaign for anyone. But if it was up to me, I would promote Ira Brooks to the head coach position and make his son Jacob 1st assistant and be HC in waiting for a few more years till Ira retires. I do realize that neither are certified but I personally would make this exception and would be able to give time for Jacob to get certified. I believe Ira has earned it.

So you actually think coaches would back out of applying because of one player who would have only been there two more years transferred out? If that is the case, Silsbee does not need any of those coaches.
