I think a point is being missed here by a couple of folks. How I read the comments here from some of the WO-S fans, they are simply down playing the win over Jasper. I don't think any of them would argue that they would have lost to CH and Carthage. They beat a Jasper team that came in with a 2-3 record. They see it as nothing to be bragging about. Personally, I disagree. Coming back in the 2nd half like they did against a formidable opponent like Jasper, in Jasper, is quite impressive in my book. Just my humble opinion.

I think the last time we played a Beaumont team was Central in the 1st round of a 4A maybe 5A playoffs. BH was undefeated that year being the 1st year in that division and Central won by 3 I believe. He's good, very good. MLB RB Tyvann Byars is also good. You see a good RB in practice every day. Thomas can do everything Byars can do. You will be ready. MLC will make some plays. That's OK. Morcos and Byars are good players. Control what you can, compete, and did I say, RUN THE BALL. Nederland has a good shot to get the W.

Today is absolutely a playoff game. If Lc loses, their only remaining game against a playoff contender is Huntsville. That’s a steep, narrow hill to climb. Nederland has opportunities remaining against Huntsville, PNg, and Montgomery - None of them are unbeatable, but as of right this second LC looks like their best chance. For Lc tonight is “probably” their last chance. That’s why I’ll be in Nederland tonight - it’s the most interesting game in the district.

I agree. When watching them play Crosby, I am almost certain that most 5A Freshman teams could beat them also. It is just sad watching them play, but I do give props to those kids for taking the field every week.

The Cowboys will not win so long as Jerry Jones and his family are running things...they are out of touch and have no idea how to build and run and franchise (except into the ground)...they are more interested in selling seats and merchandise and creating a Hollywood atmosphere than winning...this creates a soft culture...they pay people at the wrong time, overpay them and leave little else left to fill out the rest of the roster...football is a team sport, but Jerry and Stephen cannot seem to figure that out...the roster is top loaded, but the complimentary pieces are and have been subpar since Jimmy Johnson left...Jimmy knew how to build a roster (Jerry was frankly lucky with that hire and he blew it)...the only other time he hired anyone who he allowed to build a team was the Parcells hire and he did that out of desperation...he wanted a new stadium and knew that he couldn't get enough support coming off of 3 consecutive 5-11 seasons...Jerry is a very smart business man but an absolutely awful football man and his ego is too big to give control to one

I'm a wos fan and former player of the t program, and he will tell u himself. If jasper play calling didn't get sloppy in the second half on offense. Wos never climbs back in it. Jasper gave that game away.

I know it's early, but this could be 4th position playoff vibes. I win over LC could get them in. The QB, RB, and WR are really talented. QB is very poised in the backfield and can throw on a dime. Their D is like swiss cheese, unless they shored them up over the last games. I know we have after that game. Run the ball, keep it out of their QB's hands.

Yes we seem to be a decent to good o-line. Against FWood and KPark we played with a much higher level of physicality than those teams wanted to play. The oline is probably bigger but slightly less talented than some of the lines you're are familiar with playing.

Politicians have used the term fight for years.....Only after TDS has saying "fight for your rights" means violence. He also said "peaceful and patriotic" Most people without TDS knows Jan 6 was a big partisan get Trump exercise....That is why he is tied or beating Kamala right now Bottom line, Kamala is unliked, she could not break 5% when she ran for President.

This is the only game in the District worth watching. The other 3 games look like cake walks.

This year went badly off track for BH on the opening drive of the 1st game. RB1 gone for the season, then later in that same game WR1 went down. (HATERS REJOICE!!!). Then it got worse from there. More injuries on offense, all the skill guys. Took all the speed off the field. So what can BH do at this point? BH can go out with whoever is left standing and play as hard as they can for the remainder of the season. That might get them 4th place. It is insane how injury prone BH has been the past two years. Lost most of our defense last year, and now our offense this year. I am the eternal optimist though. Maybe next year we have minimal injuries, and we do have a favorable schedule set up. Thats next year though. BH needs to dig in, man up and play as hard as they can with what they got as long as they can. If the team does that, thats all anyone can ask.
