  2. I posted about the Astros being represented in the All Star game, but really, it’s a popularity contest. Craig Biggio could never beat out Ryne Sandburg. Check this out: Craig Biggio and Ryne Sandberg are both Hall of Fame second basemen with impressive careers. Biggio holds the edge in career hits (3,060 vs. 2,386), doubles (668 vs. 409), and stolen bases (414 vs. 344). Sandberg boasts a higher career batting average (.285 vs. .281), more home runs (282 vs. 291), and more RBIs (1,061 vs. 1,175). Here's a more detailed comparison: Craig Biggio: Hits: 3,060 (2nd most all-time for 2B, behind only Hornsby) Doubles: 668 (2nd most all-time for 2B, behind only Tris Speaker) Home Runs: 291 RBIs: 1,175 Stolen Bases: 414 Batting Average: .281 Hall of Fame: Elected in 2015 Longevity: Played 20 seasons, all with the Houston Astros Gold Gloves: 2 Silver Slugger Awards: 4 All-Star Selections: 7 Ryne Sandberg: Hits: 2,386 Doubles: 409 Home Runs: 282 RBIs: 1,061 Stolen Bases: 344 Batting Average: .285 Hall of Fame: Elected in 2005 Gold Gloves: 9 Silver Slugger Awards: 7 All-Star Selections: 10 MVP: 1 (1984)
  3. I want nothing swept under the rug. It just gets tiresome reading the same thing rehashed. None of us truly know what is going on. Does anyone really think there is a ”list“? If clients are revealed, you won’t believe the validity unless you get Trump, so why even attempt to satisfy your curiosity?
  4. One day we will have a real republican with values , who is honest and honors the Constitution. Also who is not a convicted felon.
  5. Baddog said this is a dead horse. Your thoughts?
  6. Not until it is released then you can say dead horse. Once again you would like it swept under the rug. Remember it was Bondi who made it a skeptical. Her photo op with the binders.
  7. Today
  8. Paredes had been added as a replacement for Cleveland's José Ramírez last week, his second straight American League All-Star selection. Paredes will not attend All-Star festivities in Atlanta.
  9. Here is the current active roster for the Astros and their hitting statistics: [Hidden Content] You tell me who should be in lineup in place of or with these players: Altuve, Parades, Walker, Diaz, Smith, Caratini and Dubon. You have Hummel, Trammel, Short, Whitcomb, Matthews and Corona to choose from to play in the other two batting positions or replace one or two of the players above. Keep in mind that Pena, Meyers, Alvarez, McCormick, Rodgers, Melton and Dezenso are all on the IR. It's a given that Pena, Alvarez, Meyers and McCormick would be every day players if they were not on IR. So my thoughts (and what any person with any sense could see) is that Houston puts in what available players they have to fill the lineup for each game. Pretty dang simple. Let's here your thoughts.
  10. That statement that I put in bold is all I need to know about what little you know. Entering today's game, Houston is 1st in hitting in the American league and MLB with a .259 team batting average. They rank in top five in OBP (.324), Slugging (.411) and OPS (.735) in the American League. Now, had you said their hitting of late (last 4-5 games) or first part of season (first 20 games) has not been good, then your statement would have been accurate.
  11. Uneventful loss today 5-1. Brown way off but what the hey stuff happens. Only highlight was Short dinger late in the game. Life goes on get some rest and pick up later. Mariners sweep the Tigers 8-4 so we 5 up now
  12. 5-1 dub. Series win. 💪🏾
  13. The Astros are still in 1st and Brown has been good except for his last 2 outings I think the main culprit is that he has been behind in the count too often these past 2 games. It’s hard to get a quality performance when that happens I know that they have a lot of injuries, however I would like AggiesAreWe’s thoughts on why they continue to put players in the lineup that are weak hitters
  14. IMO, the Astros have some quality defensive players, however their hitting this season has not been good. Peña has been pretty decent and Myers is having his best hitting season, but other than those 2 , they haven’t been to good
  15. Slot t has produced most offensive production in vidors history. Though Subpar. It is what it is. They were less successful without it
  16. People simply refuse to believe how deep the deep state really is.
  17. I still think it is asinine that Stros being 3rd or 4th place team in MLB has no regular player starters on the AS team except Pena as reserve. Maybe it's me I don't know.
  18. I don't have position on this yet. Just putting this out for discussion. But, a year ago, Megan Kelly said this: "We are not done with Jeffery Epstein. Can't tell you how I know. But I can tell you for a fact we are going to hear more about Jeffery Epstein in the coming year. And you may be even hearing from him directly. More on that as I'm allowed to tell you." Now, who's not allowing her to say anything? Or, is she saying she won't say any more until she learns more? I think what possibly happened Concerning Kash Patel, was when he became Head of the FBI he now saw that Epstein's in witness protection. This is why the quick and definite response that he committed suicide. [Hidden Content] Now also concerning this: Michael Franseze was a mobster. He says he spent time in that prison and time in that cell. He says there's "no way" Epstein committed suicide by hanging. First he has stated that there's nothing in the cell that tall enough to allow to be hanged. But his take is someone actually killed him. [Hidden Content] PS -- I've come across some info concerning a relationship with young Mr. Epstein and former AG Bill Barr's father. very interesting what I've come across so far. Still researching this.
  19. Is it about protecting the deep state and what they were involved in? This guy says Epstein was just a pawn. Thoughts?! [Hidden Content]
  20. I think bc may have to revamp their offense around their best player. Will they? Who knows. Lcm has their tandem qb/wr back. I think lumberton getting slept on over BC in my opinion. Bc losing their qb is much bigger impact than most are looking at. Lcm/huffman Lumb./vidor Bc
  21. Thanks. Thought I was losing my mind. Lol
  22. 1. Astros went in defensive mode when replacing Altuve to protect lead. 2. In extra innings, you start your at bat with a runner at 2nd base. Whoever made last out in prior inning is put on 2nd base to start their next inning at bat. 3. same as #2. MLB started this a couple of years ago to shorten games. In extras, you start with a runner in scoring position (2nd base) to make it a little easier to score so that games can likely end sooner. No more 12+ inning games. I think since MLB implemented this rule, no games have gone past 13 innings.
  23. I take it you’re never going to Europe, Brazil, Australia, or many Caribbean or Pacific islands. America’s ideas on nudity compared to most of the rest of the world always tickle me.
