A while back, my MIL was bored and decided to read a book. She read the Exorcist. After reading it, she said it was the scariest and most vile book she had ever read. She took the book and chunked it off a fishing pier. Being the loving SIL that I am, I bought a replacement copy, soaked it, and placed it in her nightstand.

He was my first concert at the Port Arthur Civic Center I believe in 1978-79. If only back then I knew I was watching a legend in the making. The poor guy had the worst luck plus bad decisions, but there are too many people who don't realize all the hit songs he wrote that other people sang..... RIP

Polls are not useless, were pretty accurate until Trump came along.....The personal attacks that Democrats do well against the right just made the right not speak.....screwed the polls right up You are no more of a gauge for blacks and minorities, than I am a gauge for white people...... I think everyone that voted Democrat is starting to question what Democrat policies has done for them.

People always start off liking the new guy. Time will tell. Crumedy wanted to rehire a retiree from Manvel but was told no for two years that the district didn't allow it. His wife is a district employee. He would have been great for the defense. Just pointing it out because the rules seem to be changing for this guy. Also, was asked about players returning, they have a lot of people who are graduating and one who transferred out. I also heard that the school board is comprised of two parents who want to run the team and their children to get playing time. It will be interesting to watch as the season comes upon us. Lastly, the new facilities Foreman is working in is a result of Crumedy's connections and work.

That's a bold statement when you throw out blacks and minority. How fitting and convenient for the media to use polls they determine are to their liking and when it doesn't line up polls are useless. Trump's message is played out and full of repeated lies. The few MAGA faithful are drinking the kool aid weather fact or fiction. Mr. MAGA sees no fault no matter how harsh or vile Trump can be.

Dude. It’s not hard to gain support when you didn’t have any to start with. Statistics say whatever you want them to. Thats the delusional part of MAGA. The only reason Trump got elected is becuse the Dems hand-selected Kamala to be their candidate in 2024 when she was polling at 1% among democrats before she dropped out in 2020. There is no “MAGA Mandate” for anything. Mist people still hate Trump. They just hated Kamala more.

You stated that the crunch families are feeling is due to increased increases in taxes, utilities, and insurance, not the cost of gas or groceries. To which I pointed out that you’re mistaken… the fact is that property taxes for homeowners have gone down. People aren’t upset about their taxes going up when they’ve actually gone down. Homeowners get excited every spring when they get a notice of appraised value that shows an increase in their taxable value without reconciling that with the fact that their taxes have actually decreased. But you’re right… facts do matter.

That statement, sarcastic as it may be, proves my point and what everyone is thinking. The loudest person in the room is usually the person with the least to say.

Has Trump ever been over 50% approval in anything other than immigration? 34% and he is gaining black and minority support.... Do I need to remind you Trump won in 2024 (including popular vote) against all odds and everything that was thrown at him. If you base anything off his approval rating, you're likely going to be disappointed. I have no idea what is going to happen at mid-terms or 2028, but what I do know is Democrats have no message, no leader, and their approval rating (if we want to go by that) is lower than Trumps......
