I've watched Vidor football for almost 40 years. Played for Vidor (in the 90s) during the 5A days and was lucky enough to experience the drop down to 4A. I've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly of Vidor football. I've seen Vidor outmatched talent-wise and outcoached. I've seen Vidor beat teams that they shouldn't have beaten, and I've seen Vidor lose to teams that they should have beaten by 3+ scores. I've seen Vidor with size on the OL & DL, I've seen Vidor with fast skill position players and not so fast skill position players, I've seen Vidor QBs throw for over a 1,000 yards (was lucky enough to play for a QB that threw for over a 1,000), and I've seen Vidor QBs not even come close to throwing for a couple, few hundred yards. But one thing that Vidor has always been great at is playing with passion, determination, and fearlessness. Just about every Friday night, it's Vidor against everyone... the team they are playing, their fans, or casual posters on a message forum. And to those people who watch Vidor once a year or once every couple of years and they know any and everything about Vidor football... you can politely GF'ed! And to those who think just because they coach know more about Vidor and Vidor football... you can politely GF'ed too!!!! GO Pirates... It's ALWAYS a great day to be a Pirates!

Vidor coaching staff is one of the best. Multiple high-quality coaches. Coaching has not been the issue at Vidor.

The problem with Vidor is they let a losing coach force the hire of another losing coach. I believe they went 2-8 last year. His record at Vidor is 13-19. 12 years as a head coach, his overall record is 58-70 for win percentage of 45%. Point is, if nothing changes at Vidor -- then nothing will change!

Israel is technologically advanced compared to Iran. But, numbers & sheer geographical area make a full-blown invasion of Iran by Israel a losing proposition--and the Israeli's know it. In addition, the Abraham Accords would be shredded, and the region would be thrown into chaos because the Arab/Muslim States would never accept an invasion strictly by Israel. They tolerate it when the U.S. does it because of common interests and needs. But, that doesn't mean they like it any better. For perspective, at the height of the operations in Iraq in 2007, the U.S. had about 170,000 military personnel deployed in country. That's the size of Israel's entire active manpower, and only leaves call up reserves for home defense against Hezbollah and Hamas--who would both take the opportunity to hammer Israel for all they're worth. Iran is over 250% bigger in geographical land mass than Iraq. No. U.S. boots on the ground will be required if boots are utilized. And you can kiss off the Gulf States helping. They won't lift a finger other than in defense, and allowing the U.S. to stage. NATO? Europeans? Ha! Riiiigggghhhttt...
