  1. Past hour
  2. He was a good player, but those other two led them in the playoffs too. I was responding to the post that made it seem like he was the sole reason for them winning.
  3. As often as Morrison has applied for other jobs, I can't believe no one has hired him yet. I know he was on the applicant list for another job in the Houston area a couple of years ago. Seems like a jam up coach and has done a great job at Diboll.
  4. You don’t see he is blaming others? Except for the “walk back”, which is no admission of anything except he lied, his mistakes are the people he chose. They made the bad decisions, not him.
  5. No question Hillin could be the guy and be successful. He is a good coach. But I think Clark could be just as good or better. Could also not be good at all. Problem is we don’t know because he hasn’t been a head coach yet. I think he deserves a chance. Yes, because he’s been loyal, but also because he’s a knowledgeable guy and a pretty good coach
  6. Totally agree. I was just letting people know the location if they’re not familiar with Beaumont….French Road especially.
  7. That state team for Buna was Hillins second year getting district MVP… Your crazy if you don’t think he was one of the top 2 players on that team minimum. I get that team was very talented but let’s be real
  8. 100%. He was not an option under the current circumstances. He probably would have had it he wanted it.
  9. Well I know you know more about it on that end then I do because of the connection you have to Coldspring for a bit but my cousin who has a classmate on the school board mentioned that he was in the running for the job but as you mentioned pay was an issue. Don't know if that was true or not but that what I was told.
  10. As a rule = Public housing = increased crime rate / Apartments = increased crime rate
  11. Today
  12. Coach Morrison was not an option. The budget has never been as bad as it is at this moment. Stanley was knee capped repeatedly and unable to take necessary steps for the program to stabilize. Most potential candidates in the coaching community were aware of the situation and as a result steered clear of the situation.
  13. Did he apply? If so was he offered the job? If he did apply and didnt get offered then I understand being upset. If he didnt then No reason to be upset. If he did and was offered but chose not to accept then be upset at him.
  14. Just for those who don’t know, this is the old French Road apts. behind Classic Chevrolet, which used to be Walmart, Gemco, and Bellas Hess. Yeah, I’m old enough to remember those days.
  15. Not to mention that I've been hearing rumors that Onalaska is supposed to be starting up their football program sometime in the near future... If that happens you can bet most of our guys and players from Livingston will go there leaving our program in a sad state of affairs.
  16. This is step one in either a peace deal and end of war....or a chance of getting USA involved if Russia starts blowing up our interest there......
  17. Hillin and Clark are both great dudes. I would personally take the coach who has led his team to the playoffs multiple times as a HC over the guy who is a great assistant. just my personal opinion
  18. All you haters wanted heads to roll over this. Of course you wanted Trump’s or Hegseth’s, (that would be for the unrealistic), so here it is. We clean up our mess. Satisfied? [Hidden Content]
  19. Idk about that... Not saying we're anything to be bragging about since the state championship days but in Coldspring people expect you to win and win often. Truth be told I didn't expect Coach Stanley to last as along as he did. The budget has always been an issue since I was still in school there since the whole entire county is in poverty so to hire Coach Day was definitely the right move financially but as far as building a program back up to the prominence it once had they should have looked else or brought back Coach Morrison.
  20. Lol right and that's why everyone is mad about this hire.
  21. Coach Morrison out of Diboll... Our old OC that was on the state championship staff.
  22. Which coach/coaches were the community hoping for? Curious as to who they thought was going to get the job.
  23. Not the same article I was reading about nationwide injunctions. But, if you go to the summary it provides the numbers. Doesn’t include the current Trump Administration numbers like I found in the other article. But, shows from start of 20th century through first Trump. [Hidden Content]
  24. NBC News: Trump Admits Mistake: Donald Trump appears to have walked back his claim that he saw a video of cash being transferred to Iran. Newsweek: "He valued the apartment at $327 million in 2015 and 2016 financial statements based on claims it was 30,000 square feet in size. However, the triplex was 10,996 square feet. The only thing they have, Trump concedes, is the triplex, which was a mistake." NBC News: "On June 23, 2019, Trump discussed the border, why he stopped a planned military strike on Iran and what he called his “biggest mistake” as president: appointing Jeff Sessions as attorney general." Joe Rogan Podcast: "I will say it always comes back to the same answer, the biggest mistake I made...I picked some people that I shouldn't have picked." Try again partner. I can look up more if you'd like... Took about 2 minutes to look these up.
