  2. Today
  3. FYI, I have not posted any schedules as of today, So the schedules you see up top are last years schedules. Just letting you know. I will post on this thread when I update schedules.
  4. They have been ranked a couple other times as well over the years. But it's been pretty rare for the Cards.
  5. Not the first time. BC was ranked as high as #4 in 1981.
  6. This is BC's first time being ranked in program history. Just wanted to throw that out there
  7. No one has claimed he hasn't had his moments. He has, and sometimes he shines. That said, you have to look at the impact (if any) on teams W-L records, district seedings, and playoff runs. BH is 1-2 in district, 6th place, and fighting for their life right now.
  8. if you look at the reel from BWB vs LP, the one thing LP secondary did against the pass that we don't is play the ball AND they turned around. Our secondary get caught looking in the backfield and ends up getting beat. If BWB o-line out plays out d-line, it's gonna be a long night. It will show if they worked on this during the week.
  9. No way we should go D1 again. Shouldn’t have last year. Trinity is legit and loaded with juniors who are studs. The new coach will have them in playoffs this year.
  10. Yall will be tough no doubt! Also depends if yall go D1 again or not
  11. So a win would guarantee a playoff spot for PAM. Beat Lufkin and depends on what sterling record is(expecting Lufkin to win that game) they win District. An L means we have a 3 way tie with Lufkin, West Brook and PAM and things can get Sticky!! Having confidence in your team is one thing. However, I'm not gonna foolishly say it's going to be a blowout or we are gonna win. WE SHOULD WIN. i say this in light of the C.E.King vs Summer Creek game...i bet Kenny Ray didn't see that one coming!!
  12. we put the ball on the ground a lot lately, so i can see a fumble or two. I wouldn't say they turn them into points, but with a kicker like the one they got...
  13. Westwood has the best roster on paper no one will argue that. But there are lots of good teams in the region. I selfishly predict Onalaska vs Westwood in Regional final game and it should be a rematch game as Onalaska will be traveling to Westwood in December which will likely be a matchup of two top 5 teams when they meet if not 1 vs 2.
  14. meh, he's politician. look, i'm sure as a person, he's a nice guy. He's saying all the right words, but i don't see it translate in BIG games. Lets be real. PAM have experience AND the talent compared to anyone else in the district. Like the interview said, a lot of them have been on varsity for a long time. A lot of teams have lost the talent they had last year, sucks for them. That made it easier for us. That's not me saying we weak or had a cupcake schedule cause that's something the team have no control over(except preseason). The one thing they are doing that i have been begging for years is to keep their foot on the throat of the opps!! In other words, if you are clearly better than the other team, STOP PLAYING DOWN TO LESSER TEAMS!! and they actually haven't done that this year it shows. Blowing out teams that have no business on the field with you is how you show dominance, killer instinct and that you are not taking anyone lightly.
  15. I will be gathering and posting schedules to the schedule thread up top of forum. If you have any of our coverage area teams schedules, please post them here in this thread. 16. I don't think they are worthy just yet. I also don't think a lot of the folks involved in the rankings knew about the transfer to HJ. But even with Lowe, not sure how good they will be. Time will tell.
  17. I thought maybe I’d see HJ in the top 25. Westwood winning 3A D2 this year is almost a guarantee barring injuries…
  18. I will be attending this Saturday's game. Wife wants to go see some of her friends for Homecoming. Will be tailgating before the game. Look forward to it all.
  19. Yep, Horns got exposed.......
  20. I feel like the Bruins gets some points via defense or special teams.
  21. Coaches fill out a form and rank a region then return it to TABC. So if a team is ranked, it's mostly due to the coaches input. But I am certain some coaches and media are not privy to all info on some teams. I knew about the two transfers for West Brook. I would have them right there with BU.
  22. This week's FCS Coaches poll has Lamar at #18 and Southeastern Louisiana at #22. SFA and UTRGV (this weekend's opponent) also received votes. The Stats Perform poll has Lamar #17 and SFA #25. Southeastern Louisiana also received votes in this poll.
  23. Texas Sports Writers Association [Hidden Content]
  24. We know why they won't schudule us... Pretty obvious giving the history of us vs. them.
  25. Exactly what I was thinking. In both Cleveland and Splendora's case it has hindered them more than helped.
