  1. Past hour
  2. Not talking about the sports part of this website. In fact, it's what pays the bills around here and keeps the website free. If it were up to me........
  3. AI still has too many issues right now. People who use it without back-checking are foolish. As an example, type in the below two questions EXACTLY as typed: How many illegal aliens in Texas 2025? How many undocumented immigrants in Texas 2025? We know the questions are asking about the exact same subset of the population. But, the AI answers—and sources—you receive will be quite different. AI isn’t smart enough to figure that out. It’s merely going on key words.
  4. Reagan can make his own argument and IF they weren’t facts, simply dispute them with the real facts. There are several things that could depress me, but a sports forum (even being the best one ), ain’t one of them, lol.
  5. Today
  6. No doubt AI has to be fed truth or it will cause confusion on social media. Elon Musk harps on the must of feeding AI truth.
  7. Just a short clip which kinda explains what I was getting at. What is projected is a distraction. This is a huge reason why Kirk was assassinated. He was making an impression on college youth which is a huge voting base and countered their indoctrination.
  8. But the person who created this thread claimed the data was factual. Reagan's reply to someone asking who was Mila Joy, "The one stating the facts!" So what you are saying is folks like Reagan post threads just to get discussion going, regardless if the subject of the thread is factual. Got it. Not sure why we need that kind of discussion here. I guess I should be used to Reagan flooding the forum with the opinion pieces from the right. This place is getting very depressing.
  9. The thing that bothers me more than anything else lately, is the amount of posts obviously strictly using AI. I’ve researched quite a few of them, and they are coming from obviously biased source material. Makes sense since most media has a more liberal slant. I wish people wouldn’t just use AI generated answers, and think for themselves. AI seems to already be taking critical thinking out of the equation for many people.
  10. I think most debates on this particular political forum are fairly robust. It’s a lot better than most places. Personally, I do a lot of data checking before I get too deep into discussion. Unless it’s something with which I have personal experience. Even then, if someone asks, I’ll try to provide data to support.
  11. Truth can come from any source, as can misinformation. I think most posts are made for discussion, not necessarily to claim without a doubt they are 100% accurate. Back to my original point, the debate shouldn’t end just because someone doesn’t like the source.
  12. Only if someone checked what she posted. I’m not sure the issue is a big surprise to people. The numbers may be off. But, the occurrences of misuse, overuse, and outright fraud are pretty well known. Her statement of “if all benefits were cut off, they would leave” is pure conjecture. Nothing wrong with that as her opinion. But, it is pure conjecture.
  13. I was waiting to see how long it took for those who said they didn’t trust a single source—or the government—for data/information, to realize the X post was partially created using government data.
  14. Since muslims chunk gays off of rooftops, I’d say it is somewhat of a surprise. That’s why I said it’s for show. Shades of things to come are covered by this type of gesture.
  15. They could just as well hire me as the head of thoracic surgery at Harvard Medical School. A police officer would be well suited to be in charge of a prestigious position at a medical school. After all, I have been to about half a dozen classes on first aid. The Dems, right on schedule, are into box checking. And no, we absolutely shouldn’t be surprised.
  16. Not much surprises me when it comes to democrats, but I gotta admit, this one did a little bit. I never expected New Yorkers to embrace government dependency so much as to vote someone like this in, and he was very honest upfront about his intentions.
  17. NIL wasn't a thing when Joseph was at A&M that came later
  18. I meant is it a big deal on who that guy hired? Should we be surprised?
  19. That the largest city in the US elected a democratic socialist (communist) as their mayor is a very big deal. Soon we’re gonna see just how big. Remember all the dimwits that were surprised at the direction biden took the country, same folks will be shocked, once again.
  20. Why the heck is there a Snoop Dog bowl?
  21. Yesterday
  22. Omg don’t get me started on Obamacare!!! This is one issue that Trump should have been prepared for on day 1 and here we are 1 year in and still no replacement for Obamacare!! I am hoping something gets done. Last I read there are 110 million Americans without health insurance because they just can’t afford it. Our healthcare/health insurance system is broken.
  23. New York elected the man. That's what they get. Is this a big deal?
  24. I believe you are right sir. After looking at some of her post I find this one to be interesting.
  25. Yep….One of the biggest crimes against humanity and no one has been held accountable. And yet again conspiracy theorists were right!
  26. Joseph also was at the college with A&M. He saw what it was like then and how bad the college athletics with NIL and all. Unless it is just one hell of a deal and he wants that headache I think he will stay at the high school level.
  27. Mamdani wants NY to burn just like Newsom did to California. Inept firefighters, or the inability to fight a fire is what they are looking for. We will be able to witness the downfall of what was once a world class city. With FDNY being a union with thousands of members, they should be allowed to elect their leaders, not a mayoral appointee, but that’s not the way it’s handled. Mamdani hiring a gay chief is all for show. He’s appeasing his left/woke base.
