This year Paredes may be out for the duration. Next year will be interesting to see how they play the infield especially when Yordan is In the DH slot. Yes, get through this season first, but just thinking of the possible lineup issues is quite intriguing. Many other organizations would have personality issues that would likely cause problems. If the top paid players are all healthy at the same time next year, someone will be sitting or playing a very unfamiliar position. This could get Yordan off the defensive side of things for sure. Who knows...? Order drinks, ask the wait staff for extra napkins and a pen....make some lineups.

People in Huffman have been waiting on this year ever since these guys entered Jr high. Will be a complete shock if they do not win the district handily.

Hearing There Is A Move In That Might Be Playing Quarterback

Not very well thought out. Huffman returns nearly the entire team, and the SR class is loaded. Will be the best Huffman team in recent memory. There is no "reload", Huffman is "fully loaded".

1. Bridge City (BC has a solid defense returning. If the new QB can get the ball to his playmakers to compliment that brute in the backfield, and everyone stays healthy, look out) 2. LCM (LCM lost some great players on defense, but the offense should be in good shape. I do think BCs defense will keep this offense in check come October.) 3. Huffman (Graduated Sawyer Jameson and that giant TE/DE #0. Curious to see how they reload. Should still be competitive) 4. Lumberton or HJ (HJ is well coached and they have some good athletes that should make some noise this season. I also got my eyes on that QB from Lumberton. Kid throws a good ball and I feel Lumberton's season was a wash after he got hurt early last year.) I don't know enough about Vidor, Livingston, or Liberty to make a prediction. I have spent years working overseas. People here have always said we need to keep up with the Asians (in education). Now, when I ask a few questions I find out that they really aren't serious about it. I rode the subway in Seoul, South Korea everyday. Usually getting on the train around 5:45am. Kids, as young as 6-7 riding the subway to school. 10 hours of school. (Americans, that's way too early and way too much). They go to school year round 2 two week breaks. 1 in summer 1 in winter. (No way, we need our summers) If kids aren't performing they are removed to a lower education school and class keeps going. (That is cruel) But these are the folks excelling at everything and our kids, by and large, aren't. Oh yeah, sports in schools are not the end all be all as it is here.
