So now Trump is like “well, that’s between Israel and Lebanon, but you’d better open that strait” and Iran is like “I guess we don’t have a ceasefire after all.” A better question is, why does Trump keep saying that we have “full control over air and sea” but the strait is still closed? Yep, the coach they planned to hire from the beginning told them to “pound sand” when he got all the information on the district. They will need to find someone who is naive and knows nothing about how schools run or what is needed to build a program. Whomever they end up with is likely to have a new Supt and school board shortly after he is hired. A new coordinator from one of the school types that you mentioned is probably the best bet.

I hope so. The fans in Coldspring really didn't "approve" of this hire at all so hopefully he can move back to greener pastures. It's going to take a special kind of hire to turn this ship around and get us in the right direction. We should start looking for schools with head coaches/coordinators with decent success at schools further away or pull from a 5A/6A school in the Greater Houston area that is looking for a start but have to come with the understanding that there will be obstacles to overcome.
