BruBaker, It doesn’t matter if 2 DL were missing The special teams fumbles, the penalties, the secondary that can’t cover anyone, and an offense that can’t move the ball is the reason they lost The passing game is about as bad as you can get and I am sure teams will try their best to stop the run and not worry about the throwing game. Other than #10, the Bulldogs have no one that can move the ball I am not going with the flow, I am going with reality

Vidor LCM and Lumby with tough pre season. I think huffman takes it Vidor/lcm/lumberton/bc and livingston are all play off teams fighting for 3 spots. Lcm gets QB back they will be better. BC im unsure of? Lumberton is a surprise for sure Vidor played HF tough and is improving every week. Young o line may be finally coming together (defense still not good as of yet) livingston was my dark horse to start the year im gonna go on a limb and say 1.) Huffman 2.) Vidor/LCM/BC 3.) They’ve been alternating in Wells (soph QB) at least one drive per game. IMHO, he is the more athletic with the better arm. Saenz is the 3 year starter. Wells played the last quarter or so of the game. I think I heard he was 14/17/100+ & TD. He had a drop in the end zone & the TE dropped one also before the penalty that set them back to 4th & 25 I think when they still had time enough to close it to one score with time left. Like a couple of Bailey’s, the ball hit them right in the hands. I hear the two QB’s help each other and work together well with no jealousy. So, I’m just thinking it may be good to start Wells once and see how it goes. You can always bring Saenz back in. The biggest issue to me is still the D. Of course, Bailey was throwing dimes last night. I think it would have been hard for any defense to stop. He was ON. En fuego! They said the 4th level of the press box was full of scouts. So, his stock hopefully just doubled.

It’s perfectly normal to react that way to something as horrific as this. It’s why people warn you not to look or shield you from seeing it. I’m no doctor, but I say he’ll be fine. Just let him know it’s ok to feel that way. It still bothers me too.

Yeah, they played the '23 championship team to a tie. I think it was Bailey's first game after Adams' injury, but still, I agree, regarding this season and last.

Question. My son watched the shooting and is absolutely devastated. He didnt sleep the firs tnoght. Does anyone know how I can help him get past this. He didnt agree with Charlie, but he doesn't believe that he deserved to die

The Bulldogs will be ok; they're a good team. I was surprised that they didn't keep it on the ground more, but maybe they just wanted to work on the passing game more before district games begin. They used 2 different QBs, one seemed to be more for the passing plays. The game was really hyped, and the Bulldogs perhaps reacted more to that, with the various first half penalties, etc, or maybe it had nothing to do with it, IDK. PNG to me seemed to enjoy the hype more, and took advantage of the LP mistakes. This is just my own opinion but last years' PNG team had the '23 state championship and #1 ranking on their backs, and it wasn't until the Nederland loss, that the team turned a corner. They still had their weaknesses but they seemed to play more relaxed. This years' team so far is their own team with their own ambitions, 2 years removed from the championship, and they seem to be enjoying each game more and more.

You just described a typical football game in your first sentence. How do you think the boys are going feel the last 4 games of district when they potentially miss out on playoffs? It's cool ktz is winning. I love ktz football but come on it's against very very weak teams. The first taste of adversity is 7 weeks in. I believe the margin is around +90 in PS/PA. As long as the boys feel good tho.

WOS has never been as big or bigger than PNG and are 20-9 all time vs PNG. That includes beating some very good PNG teams, including the year we went to state in 1999. Something is different at WOS and it’s not enrollment.
