what teams in 4a div2 are in the top ten in the state

WOS, Gilmer, Cuero and Navarro seem to be consensus. Some have Sweetwater and Sinton up there too.  Even though they have 2 losses I'd still put Celina up there.

skipper, La Marque is 3A Div 1. out of District 12. They have a kid at RB who is pretty high up on the recruiting list.

I guess I should've said that the top two teams of our district will meet again in the playoffs, in my opinion.  The winner of that game will represent Region 2 in all likelihood.

I dislike playing a team twice unless we lose the first one lol.Seems that the second time around the outcome is different but not always.

They must have a strong district, like WOS use to have. There are about 6-7 really good teams in the 4A D2 in the state. The rest are ok to poor. Even these other teams have threats that can cause disaster.

It's top to bottom the toughest in 4A, DII.  Not even close.

I was talking about teams in the same district.Remember in the early years Jasper would beat us in district ( not many ) but we would always win in the playoffs.

Me being an old Stark Tiger, always wanted a rematch with Pharr San Juan Alamo who beat us in the simi's back in1962 or 63.Had we not lost our stud QB the previous game I still think we beat them.Without him we were just a run offense and we mixed it up really well with him in there.

It is amazing how dividing 4A into 2 divisions watered it down so much. At least when the districts were not divided you didn't know exactly where you would always land, unless you were the biggest team in your district. Another thing that's odd is how the power shifts back and forth from d1 to d2. I would say that hands down d1 is much deeper this year. That doesn't mean they have the best team, they just go way deeper on teams with a shot to win it all. Sometimes that is the other way around

Wow that's 48-58 as a region. And 3 teams have 14 of those wins. So the other 19 teams have 34 combined. Yikes

 

But I say that, heck our region may not be much better!!!!
