Guest ECBucFan Posted October 20, 2012 Report Share Posted October 20, 2012 Dicey first half by the Bucs, but got the job done in the second half. Had a TD called back, and run down to the two called back (refs were good, not complaining here), and EC gave up a tieing score seconds before halftime. Could have been an easier game for EC except for the above. Good job by KV, they converted lots of 3rd and 4th downs, and never quit playing hard. EC's underneath passing game was good, but the long floaty passes into double- triple- or quadruple coverage are easy picks. Vanya did a great job carrying the ball to give Roberts some help. lclary Posted October 20, 2012 Report Share Posted October 20, 2012 EC Nana. I was hoping kvillecats would show up & sit with us last nite. Kirbyville played tough. Mixed it up with running & passing. Glad EC won & Glen ran hard as usual. Quite a team effort from offense & defense. Hope next weeks game is another EC victory. I love to win & have never been part of a State win but over the years I have learned that trophy cases just collect dust. They aren't the true prizes in life. If Woodville &. Neither team played well. I saw inexperience at QV, an undisciplined line, a backfield that didn't seem like they wanted to be there half the time, and bad clock management.
