The SETXsports.com State Tourney Bracket Contest get's started this week. This is our 4th year to have this contest but new to this year will be a prize awarded to the winner of the contest. The person with the highest positive point total in the contest will receive a $50 gift card from Academy!!!!

This is how you play:

Post your semifinal winners followed by your championship winner in each classification. Here is an example:


1A DI

Clarksville vs. Olton      winner Clarksville

There will be point totals both positive and negative for your picks. In the semifinals, you will receive a +1 for a correct pick, a -1 for an incorrect pick. If you pick the correct championship winner, you get a +5 points. If your pick is incorrect you will receive a -1. If neither of your semifinal picks in a classification does not make it to the finals, you will automatically receive a -1 point for that pick. To break any point total ties, the contestants will predict the total score of the Houston Yates/Denton Ryan semifinal game. Whoever is closest to that score will break the tie if there is one.

You will need to have your picks in by 8am Thursday morning, March 8th. Thread will be locked shortly after.
