Bolinger overcame a broken foot a couple of weeks ago and ran for 121 yards, his best game since his injury, while wearing the jersey of his best friend/brother/fallen teammate Matt Thomas. Can you really argue with that?

Yes, I can. 5 total TDs for a kid that a lot of folks wanted benched not more than a month ago in favor of a freshman.

Easy call on this one. Singleton for PAM. Rushed for more yards AND his team WON the game.

But, the BE player of the week is strictly a popularity contest. It's "who can drum up the most votes" and that usually goes to the player who has the bigger amount of fans that read the BE online.

Too bad the BE doesn't include Coldspring as one of it's teams they cover.

Gilbert of Coldspring rushed for 300 yards in their win this week.

Sorry, but he and Singleton were the two most deserving.
