Lobos you have no clue what your saying about this Arp defense. Not one team has put that high of a number on Arp all year and that having played Diangerfield, 3 -3A schools, state ranked Rogers and Paul pewitt. As far as holding Arp to 7 well thats just unrealistic. CC could not hold the 3rd place team from Arp's district under 49 points. CC is a great Texas program and will play a very good game. I don't doubt that. But make no mistake this is a completely differant level of football coming at CC this week. I don't expect Arp to blow anyone out but do think Arp will win by 14+. If CC doesn't catch some huge breaks and lets Arp get going it will be over early. Arp has the team speed to macth up CC. CC will have the faster player out of the 2 teams as I have witnessed and maybe even the fastest 2 players that remains to be seen. But after watching CC play West Rusk there is no doubt the Arp Oline and Dline should be able to control this game if they are as focused as they have been all year. expect a good game and wish them all the best. Guys this Arp team is looking very strong. Arp's all out team effort and bone crushing defense is fun to watch. The front seven from Arp is the best in 2A. The QB is the best in 2A. The line is among the best in 2A. All together there just isn't many holes in this team.

Ask Rogers fans what they saw Friday night respectfully. They even after the game spoke to us and what a classy group of folks they are told us that Arp was better than being palyed out to be. Simply put we are not Refugio. We have no reason to want high rankings and don't think it helps win ball games. We have no reason to run the score up. The game with Rogers was just like all the rest we have palyed against D2 teams. We get a lead and work the clock to make it through the game the best we can to remain injury free. Noone in Region 3 will beat this team. Lexington is your best chance and after seeing them it won't happen but you won't take my word anyway till we prove it. So sit tight and join in with us its going to be a real fun ride from here on out. Your just put this in your head and think on it. Arp called the dogs off in the 2nd half of the Rogers game. It could have been real ugly. don't believe me ask any of them! they were a very classy group and I figure they will say the same.

  JJ Good Luck to your Tigers,But using Daingerfield as a measuring stick is not too hot..They ain't what they used to be either....I know you had to win the "Homer of the year" on SDC  (again)...lol

you know it!!!!4 time SDC homer of the Year!!! lol....

That said DF is really good. They have the talent to win it again. Not sure if you have seen em but man they are big,Talented and fast. They did dominate a good team Friday night.

Looking at who arp has played and who they have won and lost to, and then looking at CCs schedule and who they have won and lost to I think CC can hang with arp, they just have to play all 4 quarters, arp is beatable, CC has one of the toughest pre district schedules in the state and has played quality competition I know they will be ready

Not by a division 2 this year!! Against Division 2 teams including 2 AP top 10 teams Arp has avg 48.3 points/game and only given up 14.6 points/game

Do you remember how well we played you guys in the 2008 qtr final. This team is a lot better than then! the 2011 Arp team would have crushed both of those teams. Simply put this Arp team is better!!!!!!!

Yes this is Kyle's sr year. The kid is a freakin beast now. He is 6'1 205 lbs and is fast. We run the Veer now and do 90% of our damage to folks on the groud so you don't see a lot of stats thru the air for him. But on the ground he has burned pretty much everyone we have played with runs of 85,90,75 and many between 65 and lower. The kid is Arp's all time scoring leader now. Thats pretty inpressive!!! We also have L.Cooper's lil brother starting as a freshman RB. He is as big and fast as Cooper already. He is more of a pure RB than Cooper was. This kid looks like a D1 RB already. I can't wait to see him daze folks for the next 3 years in Arp. In just 4 Varsity games he is over 500 yards and nearly 20 TD's.
