It should have been dealt with at the affadavit meeting.........the ADA should have paid attention to what was going on..........PN should have read the rule book..............sounds like you all are part of the problem.

BC is just catching alot of heat because the ADA is from there and this all looks fishy. Im sorry but everyone from the area knows the favortism that goes on with that League. Its pretty sad during several games I witnessed the umps and BC coaches butt grabbing in between innings and also cutting up with folks in the stands. Its getting pretty old! Why cause BC has nice fields and some good food at the concession stands....lol!! Cause talent wise.........there is tough competition in this whole district from every city.......and its just gonna get tougher.

If folks are going to resign cause of this situation, so be it it will only help the rest of the District! And honestly I hope the next time a question comes up and is brought to our ADA he opens that green book and gives the correct answer, this would never be the case if that would have happened......sorry kid you got screwed cause Im Mr No It All!!

Good luck GNLL!!! Yall Got This!!!

[/quote]Sorry to be the barrier of bad news but the ADA IS NOT from Bridge City..the DA is. And who cares if our coaches "grab" butts? LOL I do believe all coaches do the same  ;) Bridge City has an awesome program IMO, not only because of the "nice fields/good food" as you say, but the people in general!

This pointing fingers towards Bridge City is just an easy way out for the people involved, not wanting to take the blame. Mistakes are made daily. LEARN from it and dont make the same mistake next year, or ever for that matter!

GO BCLL!!! WE got this!!!!

kf89 as long as you have continious participation in the league, in other words my 2 year old will be able to play as long as my other sons stay involved. If for any reason they take a year off then the grandfather clause is void. Also on this note, if my sons play out (in other words reach the age of 12) and have remained in WELL then any sibling following them may join once they reach playing age.

Porkchop, the Dist 32 DA can't be blamed for this mistake. The affidavit used by little league to verify eligible players are filled out by the Manager of the team. It is then checked by the player agent of the league and finally the League President. Once these three people sign off on the affidavit (stating these are eligible players) then the DA signs off on it. He is checking for Birth Cert.-Proof of Residence-league boundaries. I would find it hard to blame the DA in this matter. This should be a lesson to all that manager an All Star teams.

Good luck to both Groves and BCLL tonight.. No blame on Dist 32 DA.. Just hope everyone that was involved learned a lesson. There is to much he said she said to know the complete truth. The right call was made not doubt, a rule was violated so you must except the penalty and move on. I think it just took some time to set in for some of the folks from PN cause they had no idea something was wrong. They just knew that all the boys playing on the all start team were the proper age and from PN and played at PNLL. (just didnt know that one of the boys played up with the 13 & 14 yr olds). Either way good luck to Dist 32 in the next round! Either team (GNLL & BCLL) will make everyone from Dist 32 proud......

    • Cohen……a lying, backstabbing pos who does nothing but lie every time he opens his mouth. Let him utter words the prosecution wants to hear, and we can convict. Cohen told his ex advisor that he wanted to kill himself. What a worldly loss that would be. Let anyone on this board be put through the wringer with false charges and lies like Trump has had to endure, and you would be screaming at the top of your lungs how illegal all of this is.
    • It was and remains perfectly timed and choregraphed Kangaroo Court, whatever Cohen just said or lied about.  Face it, under Soros installed Biden and Merrick Garland, the USA is now officially a Bananna Republic with a Goverment that weaponizes itself against and destroys its political rivals. Putin and Xi are SO proud!  Dang I miss Democracy.
    • I haven’t been watching closely, but even the liberal sources even tell the story as “the defense really took apart Cohen’s testimony on Thursday.” It sounds like sloppy work from the prosecution to point out a specific call as being “the one,” when it was easily concluded that this particular call could not have occurred the way that Cohen (and the prosecution) claim it to have happened.    The bad news is that I doubt that it matters much-I suspect that most jurors minds were closed before testimony started.   I don’t see Trump leaving with anything less than a conviction based on the venue (NYC).
    • Tough case all the way around.  The guy had a lot of online activity come out where he made racist statements and statements about killing BLM protesters and looters.  So when he then goes out and does it, it looks really bad.  I've seen a lot of videos where people have driven through protestors, defended themselves against them, etc., and didn't bat an eye.  This feels different, but that doesn't necessarily make it murder, either.  His account of the events that happened vs. the witness accounts were both very different, but I'd also expect both sides' accounts to be self-serving and inaccurate to fit their narrative.  Not really sure what to think on this one.
    • @CardinalBacker   Wanted to get your thoughts on how Cohen did as Bragg's star witness..... My Take: The State spent two days acknowledging that Cohen lied all the time but now he has come clean,,,,,,,it took the defense (having same evidence state had), just a few hours to confirm Cohen lied to the current jury a couple days ago......  While I thought initially Trump would be found guilty due to venue, with best case a hung jury, there is now a pretty good chance he will be acquitted...... Thoughts anyone??   This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up
