[/quote] You are right, that has been a long time, no doubt, but all that talent was there previous to Thanksgiving and lots of other schools were coming around, just not the one right down the road.

I spoke with a Memorial coach just after Thanksgiving and he informed me at that time that to his knowledge no Lamar coach had been on there campus. I just find it hard to believe with all that talent that signed college scholarships yesterday from Memorial no one from Lamar would even come around.

AggiesAreWe may not be wrong, all he said was that no Lamar coach has been on Memorials campus and no one was offered.  He did not say there may not have been some phone calls that may have been used to say they are recruiting there.  If a call is made than that is recruiting. But if not a single Lamar coach visited Memorials campus, that is a completly different matter alltogether.

42-20 is not beating yourselves or giving the game away due to turnovers or penalties or whatever you want to call it.  It’s called getting abused.

If ever there was a thread that needs to be let go it’s this one.

The O-Line is almost as big of a problem as the defense right now.  Not the RB’s.  The RB’s are getting first contact 2-3 yards in the backfield because the O-Line gets NO push at all.  The RB’s have little chance to have success when they are getting mauled so far behind the line that they have no chance to get going.  It wouldn’t matter too much at all who is back there at RB right now.

My 11 and 12 year old sons came to me just before half where they had been watching the Lamar game in another room and told me dad, “The Cardinal players have stopped trying”. Even they can see it……………….SAD!
