got it from a reliable source ... there had been small chance for Lee College, but Sealy may have balked at costs, even though a DH with PA Memorial was a possibility

got it from a reliable source ... there had been small chance for Lee College, but Sealy may have balked at costs, even though a DH with PA Memorial was a possibility

Getting to and from College Park to Silsbee was a nightmare last time ... Baytown is much more accessible all around ... but what happened to Lee College?

As of last night........there was very little chance of Silsbee/ Sealy playing at Lee.  I spoke with the man in charge at Lee College and Silsbee was on the list to play there Friday night, but they were way down the list!!!!  Several teams would have had to cancel for Silsbee to get the gym.  I love that gym and so do the Hawks!!!!

Just jacking with ya ... we were basically on the same page ... Lee was a long shot at best and even if we were at the top of the list, not sure the Sealy coaches liked to cost of playing there.  Just glad Giddings did not advance because I was told we probably would have had to head to College Park ... hated the drive there last year, plus the place was as dark as a cave.  :P
