Silsbee JV

Does anyone know why Silsbee's JV did not play against WO-S last week but the Freshman team did? Do we know if they will play this week?

I was told they lost 11 players to grades and another 4 or 5 quit. Just didn't have enough to play last week. I haven't heard anything about this week though.

Grades would have hit well before last week. The 6 weeks ends in another week. Could it have been the poor field condition and the decision to just have 1 game?

Since the varsity played in Silsbee, the subvarsitiy games last week were in West Orange.

I spoke to some school administrators last Friday night and that's what I was told by several of them, 11 lost to grades and some quit. I'm just going off of what I was told. The actual numbers did vary from person to person.

Yes, the freshman and jv games were to be played in Orange last Thursday, so the field conditions at Tiger Stadium had nothing to do with it.

The field conditions had nothing to do with it. Silsbee's JV is very short on players.(Grades, Injuries, etc...) Just didn't have enough to play the game.
