Guest Burkeville Chronicle
The defensive player of the week has to be Zach McLemore of Burkeville. On Friday morning his grandfather was tragically killed in an accident. Zach played friday night in the Mustangs opener against Timpson. Although the Mustangs lost, Zach had an interception (which he returned for 40 yards) and 5 tackles against a very talented Timpson Bears team. Zach said that his grandfather would have wanted him to play. This is a very special young man who is dedicated and loyal to his team and the Burkeville community. Jackthehammer
Lets see hmmm? How about Justin Jackson safety at West Brook? 13 tackles, 5 solos, and KBMT-12 BIG HIT OF THE THE WEEK. He got injured in the third quarter so he only played a half. Central is no pushover.

Yes, this kid did decleat our RB.

j_dog
Jasper's Cedric McGill #11 three interceptions and a win, against the Kirbyville Wildcats I think he also had a fumble recovery. McGill was a huge key to the Jasper win.
