KK had 30, excuse me.

OF was screwed.

After KK hit the 3 technicals to take a lead, the clock showed 0:00 but the refs had to put 1 second back on. The Lady Cats did not know this and hit the court to celebrate. The technical was called and Navasota hit 1-of-2 to tie the game.

This thing is they didn't run on the court, they were just right infront on the bench.  Ref warned them, Coach Jost got them back and he still called the tech.  I can't say on here what I really want to say or I would get banned!!!!

This is a perfect example of when an official gets on a power trip and becomes a "part of the game."  They should be there to observe and make the calls, but to make such an insane call, with so much on the line, genuinely affected the outcome of the game.   I think it's a terrible injustice to a tough as nails Orangefield team.  I wonder how those guys will sleep tonight.

I wasn't at the game so I can't give a definitive explanation as to what actually occured, but as to what I'm reading here, this sounds like a horrible injustice against OF by this referree.  If what I am reading is true, all I can hope is that his actions are reviewed by his superiors & if it is determined that his actions actually affected the outcome of this game that he no longer be allowed to officiate basketball on any level.

Wow.  What an awesome game. We got screwed by the refs yet again!  It was Diboll last all over again. Down by 17 this year (16 last year) came back tied it up forced overtime.  

KK I've said it so many times you were the heart and soul of this team you had an amazing career and I'm going to miss you so much.  

Laura Riddick you're a monster. An absolute monster!  You never gave up and I am so proud of you.

Oilvia Wagner I think of you as a sister, you played you're heart out tonight and I'm so proud of you.  

Jessica Weldon I'm not going to lie the beginning of the year you had my blood pressure so high, but you improved 100 percent. Good job.  

Allie Beach I coached you in Little Dribblers when you were 14, and I would have never thought you would have turned into the woman and the basketball player you are today!  You are great!  

Now to my real sister

Aimee Scales, sister you played like I wanted you to play your whole life!!  I'm so proud of you right now, and  I have to remember you're just a sophomore.  

Marissa Wyatt  remember this name everyone shes only a freshman and you made some freshman mistakes this year, but you played on a team that was great and in a district in the  that was the hardest in the state learn from this.  

Ok, now let me tell you something where is OldRef?  I hope you read this...Your counterpart tonight cost us that game!  I just heard from a few of the players he didn't like the call you made for KK in the end and he told coach Jost he didn't agree with you THATS why he called the T for our players for cheering.  Meanwhile Navasotas players, cheerleaders, and fans were  all over the court!  How can you take a game from a group of girls who played their hearts out.  They gave it their all, and it was ripped away from them.  You couldn't over rule him?   You weren't bad tonight at all I was glad to see you at our game.  

Way to go Lady Cats.

You won this game in all our hearts.

I just got off the phone with Bleed and it is even worse than I thought.  If in fact they determine the actions of the ref were as bad as I hear, is it possible to do something about it? I have never heard of protesting a game, but then again, it is difficult to believe this guy did this to the kids.  Bleed says the ref walked out in front of the OF girls laughing about it.  Wow, unreal.

While I hate to see games end like this, I have to say that the game didn't end with the ref's call.  Yes, I know how much impact a ref has on a game, but in overtime, the Cats should have pulled it off during overtime.  I'm actually really shocked by this outcome because the Cats were on fire.  Congrats ladies on a great run/season and to all going on to the next level...good luck and to all who aren't...I wish you the best too!

Ref was a joke from what i heard!!!!!! I would protest!!!!

I talked to the ref in question after the game lucky him he was parked right next to me.  I said "How can you sleep at night, you stole that game from those girls"  The sucky ref  replies "Don't worry I'll sleep just fine." I said "We won't" closed his door.  He was escorted by 2 yes 2 police officers when he drove off.   And yes believe it our not I was that nice, I had to be Orangefields Principals were right next to us. :D

I cant believe what I have read.

#1 I was so proud that OF fought back and crawled back on top, I was at the HJ game and we were getting conflicting stories about the game, when I saw them down 17 in the 4th I assumed it was over but I should have known better, I knew the Lady cats would not go down without a fight. Great heart girls. great game KK.

#2 It's not fair to loose that way for anyone. I know it doesn't help but we know who really won the game. I honestly hope there is something that can be done about it.

if a referee laughs after making a call he should be taken to the woodshed.

Orangefield I leave you with hopefully a cheer you can use next year for similar situations

Zebra...zebra...short and stout ,,,,,,,,,,find your head.......and pull it out.   :o

sorry for the injustice you had tonight.

Wow this one really hurts yall...it's like someone just ripped your heart out. You feel so bad for these kids, to have fought and fought their way back tonight and then just when you think you've witnessed a miracle, just like that its taken away. I have never seen such a blatant call in my life. Our girls on the bench didn't run out on the court, they jumped up off the bench in celebration. If they got on the court it was a matter of inches...then on top of that the ref warns Coach Jost to settle them down! What!!! These kids had just witnessed the most amazing comeback I've ever seen in my life and they can't jump up and down in joy. So as Coach Jost turns to the bench and says sit down, the ref pauses for a few seconds and then T's our bench up. It's so bad people, it's hard to talk about. I can see if the kids stormed the floor, but they did nothing wrong. Now after KK was fouled shooting a three as the game ended, Navasota people stormed onto the court in anger at that call, but no T's were called. One of their administrators even had to go on the court to get a gentlemen that had ran out there...still no Tech. It amazes me how an adult can make a call like that in that situation with so much on the line. He literally cost our kids this game and then laughed and smiled about it all the way to his car. That's the truth too, you don't know how hard it was for myself and several others to just stand around and watch him do that. He had no care in the world about what he had just done. Very sad!!!

And Stang4life, I understand what your saying. But our girls put so much into that comeback and then to have the game just taken away from you, was both mentally and physically draining. Our girls were spent and we just had nothing left in the tank.

stop blaming the refs for everything.... 1 call can't determine the game....

Were you at the game buddy...if not you have no clue as to what your talking about. I know people get on here all the time and blame officials for this or that, but this call tonight was a call that determined the outcome of this game. If the mystery T is not called, Orangefield wins the game by one!!!
