Very simple for that to happen under the current process. Anyone can file a complaint with TEA about anything with no evidence and no validity and the certificate will become “under investigation”. It doesn't seem that it would to be difficult to prove you went through an appopriate route to gain certification. Been out of the profession for over 10 years, and I don't recall this being very common though not unheard of other than they payment crud that went on in the massive school districts (Houston DFW, etc)a few years back. Has this become prevalent where people are filing such complaints and are most proven to be false allegations? What is this current process you mention? Quote
