Gonna need a lot more than one player to leave before we run out of talent. Don't know why everybody likes to try and down play "Little league" coaches on here but "Little league" coaches played a huge part in building up the Woodville program FYI. I remember back before we had a little league program. We were mostly mediocre. Sometimes way below mediocre. These "little league" coaches are the guys who dont mind doing it for free while most of these ADs will catch the first train smoking if the money right. To be fair I heard the AD was already looking for that smoking train..... Man I figured all those little league coaches would know all the good gossip in WOODville. Quote

Little league coaches are the backbone of WV. No single player is greater than the little league. Quote

That dude tries to act like he is in the inner loop of all things in WV football. Way off the mark time after time...but thinks he has his finger on the pulse of the program. So frustrating for those actually in the fire. Quote
Setx fan Posted yesterday at 05:28 PM Report Posted yesterday at 05:28 PM That dude never said he was in the "inner loop" of anything. Just a Woodville supporter who voices their opinion on things going on in the Woodville program. Never hardly see half of yall with any input on Woodville unless you think you have some negative info. Where's he supposedly going and who did you here it from. Shouldn't be that complicated to share that information since you want to get on this site and spread gossip before its verified Quote

whodat22 Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago The real question is how many coaches are leaving now? Is there even a QB in WV? There wasn't one on the sub varsity. Quote
BBtater984 Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago The amount of people that are hinged on where this young man is going to play high school football is mad crazy! Quote

Coaches leaving might not be bad at all. Just hoping coach Mac doesn't leave. If Babin leaves there's a couple athletes who could fill the role. None are true QBs like Babin but they'll get the job done Quote

TC2020 Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago Crazy to me that he would transfer. Maybe I have blinders on, but what can Barbers Hill offer him that Woodville hasn't? He's had a chance to compete for a State Championship and has MULTIPLE major D1 offers. Are there issues with the coaching staff? School? Everybody knows his family is very prominent here in Tyler County - doesn't sound like a strictly job transfer move - but IDK! Quote

Yes many kids move because of their parents jobs. This move is going to get a lot of attention. The big question will be is the whole family moving and the dad stepping down as Tyler co DA or are they just getting a apartment in BH school district. Quote

Oh, I wasn't referring to back ups, no-name johnny's and such. I meant, transfers that are an impact at one school, then go on to be an impact at another school. Those types of transfers, which are far more commonplace strictly occur due to "athletic purposes". Quote
