This is highly inaccurate.  They did not promote the basketball coach to AD and then he ran out the football coach.  Please stop spreading BS about people on here.  If you don't know for sure what happened, then just don't state anything.  Your second comment (9/10 ....) is a great post.  It's your opinion.  The top part though .... completely wrong and it paints coaches in a bad picture.

They did not promote the basketball coach to AD?  Just a quick Google search said they did. Then a year later, he became the Head Football Coach. Tell me what is not factual?

I think it was that "they needed to listen to the little league coaches" who really know how to use the players. WV is a lot like WOS in that their little league coaches know more than the HC and his staff.

I know very little about woodville…but I assure you there is several little league coaches in WOS who know more than than the HC and his staff!

I think it's that way in EVERY small town in Texas.

Yeah I mean you never know who the little league coaches are nowadays lol for example in Bellville one of the youth football coaches is 11 year NFL Vet Brian Robison

I am sure. Little coaches always know more than the high school coaches.

I doubt if it’s “always,but it’s definitely “now…at WOS as I stated.

Are you suggesting that WO-S would have beat Carthage and won the state championship this year had those little league guys been coaching the team?

Uh no I am suggesting only what I stated.

Warren is the best academic school in Tyler County. 20% of Warren is Woodville ISD transfers. Only way Warren will compete is to take a flier and hit a Home-run on a young up and comer.

Is that a bit like saying, "I have the best looking ugly wife of all my friends?"

I'm pretty sure Woodville is above average academically so this analogy doesn't fit.

I think I remember reading the following in the paper for Accountability Ratings -

Spurger ISD B-

Warren ISD B-

Colmesniel ISD B-

Woodville ISD C+

All are pretty equal.

I think Woodville actually rates higher than Warren in terms of academics.

Is this the most current rating? I thought WV was higher than that. Still not much difference.

Not too bad considering Woodville has the bigger classrooms of these schools. Kids are able to learn better in smaller classrooms but I'm pretty sure Woodville is above average compared to other schools it's size. All the Tyler County schools are decent though
