Bridge City was successful in causing enough of a distraction to prevent LCM from being prepared for Huffman. Lumberton on the other hand was playing lights out tonight. I watched the game against Bridge City and this was a totally different team.

 

Everyone in this district is going to need a prayer or two for next week.

Last year BC at the three seed gave their opponent fits while the 1 and 2 seeds from our district got embarrassed.  We still lost, but we showed up.

Embarrassed? Huffman lost by 9 to Chappel Hill. We were down 2 with under 2 mins left in the game on their 1 yard and fumbled on 4th down. Hardly embarassing. Final score was 44-35.

I’d like to extend a congratulations to Lumberton on their Co District championship… In non district I said several times that this team wasn’t that good… and I was wrong! Congrats and good luck in the playoffs

I heard BC got scared of that long distance travel WOS, HF, and Silsbee
