Bridge City was successful in causing enough of a distraction to prevent LCM from being prepared for Huffman. Lumberton on the other hand was playing lights out tonight. I watched the game against Bridge City and this was a totally different team.

 

Everyone in this district is going to need a prayer or two for next week.

Last year BC at the three seed gave their opponent fits while the 1 and 2 seeds from our district got embarrassed.  We still lost, but we showed up.

Embarrassed? Huffman lost by 9 to Chappel Hill. We were down 2 with under 2 mins left in the game on their 1 yard and fumbled on 4th down. Hardly embarassing. Final score was 44-35.

I heard Lumberton took a page out of Mike Leech play book. 

 

Dropped a fake watch on the 50 yard line pre game. LCM picked it up, Lumberton sent in fake plays all night & totally tricked the LCM staff. 

 

Kidding by the way… don’t want anyone getting upset.

@SmashMouth Lumberton changed their offensive scheme  i believe before the huffman game and made a run?? I always thought under center runs were better for them than the spread was. At least the past 2 years such could be said congrats on the win and resilience
