This 2025 team has the structure in place and the model to follow. 
 

They have their own identity and are blazing their own trail. 
 

This team will be playing in December.

If they have to see Hitchcock in round two I don’t see that happening unfortunately. But I gotta wait and see the final bracket

I'll wait to see how Woodville looks in the final district game against Kountze to get a better guage on what we can do in the playoffs. Far as I can tell right now we'll have some very winnable games first 3 rounds though. Hopefully we take advantage of this week off to regroup and make improvements so we can go into the final district game playing playoff football. Really haven't been playing playoff football here lately though

Last bracket i saw had Hardin playing Diboll round 1 and the winner of Yoakum and Troy round 2

I have no dog in the fight but it's extremely interesting to me how people dog on Woodville. Of course they're not the same team as last year but I find it very odd to say the least! It's a bit weird don't you think?

Yeah I haven’t seen Yoakum but I imagine they are pretty tough. They still have to play Hitchcock to determine the 2 seed in that district since both have already lost to Columbus

Yoakum is at Hitchcock this Friday 10/31.  Should be a 14 point win by Hitchcock, but would not be shocked if it were closer.

Could be Diboll or Crockett in round 1 and I believe that game could be decided this Friday. Yoakum/Hitchcock/Academy in round 2

I simply said I think Woodville will lose in round one. I also said I hope I was wrong. 
Woodville lost a very good coach. I do not see Woodville being much more than a average team under this regime .

You simply didn't have to mention Woodville if you didn't think we'd get past the first round since the topic is about teams who will go 3 rounds or more. You just couldn't help yourself I guess 😆 I think Woodville should at least get past the first round and probably be a little better next year. Things can go downhill quick when this sophmore group graduates if the coaching is no good though

Looking at the jr. high and JV scores with Newton shows me Woodville has a problem developing those young players. I think Woodville has good players, so, what is the problem? May be in a couple of years they will figure their problem out.

What do you mean what’s the problem? They played for a state championship last year… Are you saying they should be doing better this year? Or as whole before this year?
