Back when they opened with Katy, they had a few 0-1’s.

About the same as it has been for Spring ISD in the last few decades. Nothing changed. King is a little better this year

Not sure if sarcasm is here or not. We lost by 28 to Gunter with what was probably the best team (top to bottom) Woodville ever fielded. We also lost to Anahuac last year. 
 

Note: Coach Houston’s 82 was damn good.

Some of your fellow fans believe the reason you lost to Gunter is because of "coaching".

LaMarque was better than you would think. I'm curious to see how they compete against Hitchcock in a couple of weeks.

Huffman will be alright if they can get the defense figured out. They will put up points for sure

NS, Katy, Westlake, Vandegrift, and Highland Park at least some of the highly regarded teams entering the season all losing Game 1. Interesting.

They are wrong. Coach Robinson is a good coach. He won more games, at a higher rate, for a longer period of time than anyone else has at Woodville. He won across multiple graduating classes. Over his 9 years here, he averaged about 9 wins a season.

For Setxfan- liking the new coach and wanting the program to be successful doesn’t mean the old coach was bad.

Setxfan has stated the reason you lost to Gunter was because of the coaches and he has also stated that WV needed new coaches after last year. He is also running the current coaches down now.

IMO, Katy is that team that will lure teams into thinking they got the W and then al the wheels come off the bus and now you lost. Dickinson looks like they kept the foot on the gas/neck.
