Bring back the 50 defense Posted yesterday at 05:16 PM Report Posted yesterday at 05:16 PM Just now, Bring back the 50 defense said: I believe they were tring that 4 2 5 the first few years but its more than the 50 they took out. And if you were never in the old program it will take me a lifetime to explain it to you how much anything else that was taking out was keys to the 40 years of success before these last three years. And the former players agree. If you wasn't apart of the true wos program you will never understand what it took. And the 50 is the 3 -4 college and the nfl call it the 3-4 But it is what it is now. Let's see what happens. I pray for any sport on all levels that God watches over all the young men and women traveling on the road or in the air. Less injuries as possible. Good luck to all parents of students athletes. The only sad part about this is tomorrow is will be December already then February now that its here. Im about to rub my crystal ball and see what shakes out wos 24 netwon 20. STAMP IT!!!! Quote

marshman Posted 9 hours ago Report Posted 9 hours ago I know of about 4 former WOS players that are assistant coaches, one was a player back in the SC runs in the 80s and has been an assistant at WOS for a very long time, another was on the 2000 state finalist team. So they should know what all made up “The Mustang Way”. Plus Hickman was an assistant under CT for about 5 years so he should have knowledge of how practice and drills were run. I’m going into this season with an open mind, they have a clean slate to start over without the meddling of the previous superintendent. The real victims of that social experiment were the kids that played the last 3 years. Back to WOS- Newton, I’m taking WOS in a physical slugfest 20-12 Quote

Now, where to have my pregame meal is the question. lol The taco truck on MacArthur next to Papa Johns is a hidden gem. I always get 4 carne asada tacos, which come topped with raw onions and cilantro. They also come with a side of charro beans, and a pile of grilled onions and a whole grilled jalapeno. That sounds pretty good, but also sounds like heartburn city lol Quote
