I did learn that a very significant area coach interviewed for this position.

I highly doubt he will take the job, but did interview.

Wow had this Kid chose the other Beaumont High school we wouldnt be having this conversation. Or anywhere but BU. Old BISD rule used to punish any athlete bypassing or leaving the West-End school to attend BU would cost you a year of Eligbility. Just an observation back in the day footbal great Christian Michael was a rock throw from

Ozen chose to attend the West-End school nobody cried file. Many other examples as well. If the Jones kid bypassed the other school what Coach would want that kid on his team. Out of character for a coach to hinder/hurt

the opportunities of a player because he didnt chose to play in your program. JMO...

It doesn't really matter what school he chose to go to. Us Silsbee folks know it was for only Basketball that's all that matters..!

Hearne had a heck of a year last year, falling in the state finals by 4 and going 29-6. I don't know anything about the coach, but he seemed to do well there.

He took the girls to State and won the schools first state title.

Silsbee signed off on him which will be in Jones favor if it goes before the DEC.
