While that certainly could be a reason, the blame lies with Harris for choosing Walz.  Shapiro probably would have been a better pick, especially as his home state was PA (which was eventually won by Trump).  Harris wanted someone like Walz to be in the background and not outshine her, which Shapiro might have done.

@tvc184 has gave the best reason for her lost.....but Shapiro may have made it a little closer, her message was uninspiring, and her delivery was not convincing.....To me, that was the biggest problem....along with not getting the same amount of black votes as the old crazy white guy Biden

In addition, and for many the greatest reason, is 4 years of high prices, high inflation and crazy socialist policies.

Along with not doing any interviews of substance.  That flabbergasted me that people would consider voting for someone who would not and could not sit down and answer questions.
